Those Ryan saves were fantastic.

Bruno cost Brighton two points though. He should leave the turf with his head down, not running into the ref's face to complain.

Apparently Leicester play West Brom tomorrow. I had forgotten either team existed - I thought S'ton/Newcastle was the last PL game this weekend.
People harp on out the "best league in the world" and every game is fascinating but I guarantee the interest in this is low and no-one will be talking about it the day after, it'll be as if never happened.

I like Forster, but because of his size he isn't half slow. Can't imagine Lloris or De Gea would take that long to get back up after an initial shot. Seemed to take him an age to prepare himself again.

Is that being harsh?

Not sure but I will give a final assessment when he gets to his feet.

Kevin Friend is having a really good game. Lino should have seen that Perez heel clip.

You have to doff your cap to Southampton, the continually make shrewd value signings, Lemina looks like another really astute bit of business.

They are all over Newcastle, hopefully won’t be long (Although, ironically, I’m sure it won’t be Long) before they score.

They've only scored in one of their last nine home league games. And that was against West Ham and two of them were penalties.

That win at Newcastle is looking better as each week passes. Benitez's pragmatism will help them pick up points against the bigger teams.

Yeah, I think they’ve been a bit unlucky though, whenever I watch them they seem to play a decent brand of football, better than most teams I watch in this league.

Like today really. But Shane Long doesn’t belong at this level.

Walked me dog at half time, just catching up. Forster’s a poor keeper, after all that hard work, hands the shit kickers another goal. And How was Yedlin not red’d for that?

On real time now. As you were.
