Sitting my hotel before having some tapas. Was up at the Bernabeu around 2pm and there were ,already Spurs fans congregating in the bars. Heavy rain forecast for the evening. I'm going to get soaked walking to and from the stadium. I'm determined to enjoy the experience irrespective of the result.

We have a young Spanish guy in my office, also very good at table tennis, supports Barca though.I sit next to a Real Madrid fan at work. Young Spanish Lad. Really good at Table Tennis. Never wears socks at work though. Anyway.....he is pretty dismissive of our boys but, over the course of the week, has been educated on Spurs history.
Interestingly he has no love for Van Der Vaart and was surprised by his status amongst Spurs fans.

Wouldn't be too bad as would mean we're going for our settled back three rather than placing Jan at LB. Think this is the way forward as it's vital that we're as solid at the back tonight as we can be.

Sounds mostly like a false LWB. In the sense that it might look like his position is LWB, but that Vertonghen will in effect cover the LWB duties and Dembele simply extra midfield power.
