FWIW I'm incredibly happy with that half. I didn't think we'd get a goal, let alone a point before the game. Now I think we can win it.

What did you want him to do? If he left it Kroos would have scored, no doubt about it.
There was a chance of a block but I'm talking in general. He seems to want to slide tackle far too much and it will cost us if he continues to do so. He's already been sent off and give away a penalty in his short time at Spurs due to his slide tackling.

Never a penalty. Kroos dived long before

It's always the same with Real Madrid. They are always giving them offside goals, penalties.
Fucking hate them

i don't get what the point of llorente is here. surely if the plan is to contain and counter then son would be a far more effective option.

Whilst I agree with you, don't underestimate Llorente's experience. He's played against Madrid multiple times and in the CL. We severely lacked some experience in the CL last season. I think Poch has played him for that reason.

That said, the way we're playing, makes more sense to have Son running up top.

Was a nice fast pass move by Real for the goal, possibly would have scored anyway had Aurier not interfered, 1-1 fair to me, we both had very good chances, could be about 3-3. Eriksen has been awful, Sissoko a breath of fresh air, overall very decent performance considering and as I like to have a moan about the ref considering the pressure he has been under thought he's done great so far, nothing too wrong with this calls.

Quite like how Fredinand refered to Spurs as "We" - Either a fan or puts his allegiances aside to back the English side.

I’d keep Llorente on, leave things as they are for now, we are doing ok. Maybe swap Sissoko for Son, we need to try and keep the ball in midfield, and that’s just not in Sissoko’s skill set.

Hasn't Sissoko been one of our most damaging players? They can't go with him - and when they try he pulls players out of position opening up space. Set up the first and his run should have allowed Eriksen to find the ball for a second. And you want to take him off?

Don't get it.

For all of Eriksen's detractors tonight he still needs to be very much part of this in the second half.

Surely the next sub is going to be Llorente for Son because there will be chances created on the break and Son represents the perfect foil for Kane to run the channels and occupy the Madrid defence.
