Wonderful performance. Missing A LOT of key players.

Winks, Sissoko and Lloris were excellent.

How fucking good are our CBs? Toby, Verts and Sanchez were quality today. What a buy Sanchez is going to prove. Looks like he's played at the back of that defence for years.

Exciting times!!

The mighty Madrid.

Penalty merchants divers and cheats.

A better ref there and we could have had a much better night...

Winks was the best I've ever seen him. Clearly stepping up at the right time. Such composure, lovely runs forward with the ball and great discipline in his positioning.

With all those players missing to do this away at Madrid and to play so composed and mature for the most part is incredible. Sanchez reminds me of Varane at same age, he was fantastic. Winks was solid, Dier was perfect but doesn't do anything flashy so he doesn't get all the credit sometimes. Sissoko really good and props to Aurier for always giving him support to make a pass and not lose the ball like he did last season. Llorente almost had 2 assists but some bad finishing/good saving stopped that. Kane is best striker in the world and real Ballon D'or candidate if he can keep it up. Lloris was also magnificent, even his kicking was solid.

That was a seriously good performance and a real message to the so called "big sides" that doubt our quality, no reason we can't go all the way in this competition.
