Could have won that 3-1... any other game and Harry's putting that in the bottom corer, and Eriksen's hitting the inside of the net instead of the outside.

Poch is a boss, but I think he leaves his subs too late.

Poch got it absolutely spot on tonight with the team selection and tactics, huge credit has to go to him for this result.

As for the players, fantastic performance from them all. Madrid set up to shut down Kane and Eriksen, and to an extent they managed to, but they were both still dangerous throughout, Kane would have scored if not for Navas fingertips, and the focus on those two left space for Aurier and Sissoko in particular to dominate Marcelo all night.

Sissoko, best game in a Spurs shirt, Poch works his magic again.

Wow that was good.

I have been a little unsure about Sanchez so far (as in is he ready to be a week in week out player) but bloody hell, tonight he arrived. What a performance against one of the greatest players of this generation. Completely unfazed.

Dier was also exceptional stepping in. Jan looked so comfortable as a wing back. Sissoko was brilliant, so much energy and also used the ball well tonight.

But Harry Winks, what a future this lad has. Up against Modric, Kroos and Casemiro, did he change his style, or panic, did he bollocks. Exceptional performance.

Fantastic. God I love this team!

Very pleasing performance and result tonight. We have come a log way to where we have a strong axis to the team and not a soft underbelly like the spurs of old. Good management and selection from Poch again tonight. Well done lads.

Unbelievable results.
Not unbelievable. RM are a bloody good side, but so are we. I'm not surprised at all. I hate all the gushing of RM, we're Tottenham Hotspur! We can beat anyone (even though we didn't!)
Sign of the times I’m disappointed we didn’t beat Real away :)
Yeah, me too. I won't have the same fear going into the return fixture. For me, a lot of it is this mythical RM that we hardly ever play, it's like the thought of it gets magnified, but the reality was, we could have won. They are not invincible, far from it. I can even see us beating them.

Was a fantastic save. The pub was cheering another Kane goal!

Also, I want to say, Sissoko was different class tonight, that was the first time he looked like a footballer and if he plays like that in the PL there is hope for him yet, honestly, very composed and worked the channels, honestly that was just a great team performance overall.

I used to say to my son, we need to buy someone like Sissoko to add some dynamism and power.. I was embarassed by his nervous performances for ages, but now all of a sudden he seems to have relaxed and genuinely contributes to this squad.

Looked as good as any other midfielder out their really.

Incredible performance away against real

At times other of our players were a step behind him. Fantastic considering his age experience and the occassion. I felt at times i'd bumped into an ex i really loved but now i realise that Modric is 33 and despite my feelings for him young Ms Winks is the way forward. #Emotional
