Aurier should be our starter and rotate with KWP. Aurier's performance tonight again shows why Trippier is not at our level.

What are you watching? Since aurier has been here trippier has clearly been better.
Aurier is still finding his feet with us especially in the EPL

Massive props to the fans. They gave the players more confidence and probably helped calm the jitters we had early on. Fair play to everyone who went, you played your part in that result.

Just one win to qualify with 3 games to go in what was considered one of the toughest groups. You can't not ask for more than that. The question now is can we actually win the group.

Thought Eriksen was alright second half actually. First half he wasn't great but second half he improved. Some of the criticism of him is too much.
He was fairly poor creatively, though I felt many of his corners were dangerous.

What I did notice though was that he never went hiding, always made himself available and defended extremely well, constantly cutting down the channels.

A good way from his best, but far from his worst game.

Good old BT Sport. Every single one of them are trying to sell our players and manager.

Would they have the same chat if it was any of the other big clubs?

*back to sugar daddy thread I go.....*
I was getting quite agitated with Rio's comments. "If I'm Kane I'm calling levy persistently saying "I want what they're on""

First of all, that says a lot about you as a person, if all you're thinking about is how much you can earn.

Secondly, ok let's go ahead and ignore strict FFP rules, upset the rest of the squad and put the club in a risky situation financially! Just pay him 300k a week, sure!!?

Can't some of these dimwits think logically?

Lol!

Front page of. BBC football is klopps ugly smiling face

Front-page of sky sports football ... Liverpool rout

Front page of if teamtalk... Superb Liverpool hit magnificent 7 !
In a little box (Spurs earn crucial point)

Lol ahhh god i do love to hate that team :D
The media hyping up every victory of these makes the let's all laugh at Liverpool thread even more hilarious when they finish 6th this season

A fantastic result for Liverpool tonight - that's three different teams they've beaten in the Champions League since 2009.

Debrecen, Ludogorets, and now Maribor. Europe is shuddering.

And then when City and United decide to up their wages even more?

There's only so much we can do. It would be nice if the footballing authorities did the right thing, too.

But by producing our own players, many of whom are local and supporters of the club, we at least give ourselves the chance of keeping hold of them as long as we are progressing and at least in a similar post-code on wages. As our revenues go up our wages will go up - and our revenues will go up with the new stadium. Look at how far we have come already, with Levy operating on zero net spend (or even profit), imagine if our revenues are much higher.

Lloris, who has committed to the project as long as Poch is at the club, and he said that what makes Harry Kane so inspirational is that he is not motivated by money. Maybe we should just try rolling with it (I know I will).

At least he calmed down enough to point out how much praise we actually deserve as a club. But there was a point were it got so bad thought he must be on commission from United - camel mouth wanker.

GHodd is worse - he just goes on about it.

I honestly think that we are now a Zaha type away from having all the tools we need to be a successful team. That performance and result showed we can go toe-to-toe with the best of them and not be fazed.

There's a long way to go and I don't think we will be as devastating as city but I don't think we'll need to be. I think we can be highly efficient and beat teams due to our strength and mentality.

Let's see how we do against Liverpool and United then we may start to understand whether or not we can be the ones pushing city.

Eric Dier was bloody awesome tonight. That dude was fire fighting. Great performance overall, and we were unlucky not to pinch the points.

Happy with a 1-1 draw, yes, very happy in fact....but seeing the high-lights of the game again it really annoyed me see 1) how easy Kane let the goalie "read" where he was going to shoot when he had "plenty" of space and time, 2) how Eriksen, normally Mr. Calm himself, not only flunk a totally good chance but also flunked passing the ball to Kane, who's made a perfectly timed run into the box, positioned in "perfect" angle to the goal as well as in position of the 2 Real M. defenders.
Maybe both were overwhelmed and over-eager with the though of scoring at Bernabeu stadion
Thus said, Real M. also had a few big chance too that they should have put away.
PS! Thanks for your ratings @Cornpattbuck,@Spursmad321 and @Gb160 Cheers (y)
