What are you watching? Since aurier has been here trippier has clearly been better.
Aurier is still finding his feet with us especially in the EPL
Still finding his feet but had Marcelo in his pocket, who would have skinned Trippier

Saw that we were going with 3 at the back and thought we'd be toast. We got away with it and was glad to see poch 532 it to close the game out and neutralise their width.

We were not at our best tonight and had key players missing and we still could have won.

It's a very, very good feeling.:)

Not getting enough sleep, but waking up to watch the lads putting in a credible performance was all worth it. Reeling the proud feeling for this up and rising club we love.

Seeing how most press articles out there giving us the plaudits was fantastic! We are finally mixing in with the big boys!

Another happy day wearing the jersey out today!

Werent at our best. Missing players. Eriksen was clearly knackered but wow oh wow. To get a draw out of that match is fantastic. And the fact that we still had our chances to win was even better. Sissoko was good. As was Aurier(despite giving up the penalty). Dier and Vertonghen were fantastic. And finally. Hugo Lloris. Wow. There is just nothing else left to say at this point. Just wow. God I love him. Great to see Rose back in action. Poch had it spot on today which was great to see. Absolutely nailed it with Llorente and Kane up front today. He has set us up very well in CL this season. Huge difference from last season.

That point has us in a great position to advance through to the next round. Especially since BVB dropped points to Apoel today. Massive results today. I am shocked, relieved and absolutely ecstatic we left the Bernabeu with a point. Hopefully we can get something off them at Wembley but we must be at our absolute best for that.

Almost disappointed with a point.

I think we rode our luck at times, but then you make your own luck. Lloris MOM by a country mile, and kudos to Poch for putting Llorente and Kane out together to help keep Madrid deeper then they usually play.

The Dortmund result is a real bonus and qualifying for the knock out stages if for sure now in our own hands.

Out of interest, What was with Rose’s position when he came on? I assumed, and he appeared to be directing, that Jan would go to CB and Dier would go to DM. But it didn’t happen and Rose effectively ended up alongside Winks. It worked, and we go through it, it just seemed a little odd!

Since Jan was comfortable against their 18 yr old RB, I guess Poch stuck with 5 at the back & didnt change the formation.
Rose was more of an insurance cover protecting the back5 & if had the chance break forward like Sissoko.

Pretty sure this was no accident & was trained on the days before. Its so refreshing to see a Spurs manager training the way for a opponent & players executing his plans accordingly.

Morning after, still buzzing with excitement.

What we did yesterday as a team yesterday is equivalent to what Bale did at San Siro - superb break out performance.
Now our young lads know they can go toe to toe with the big boys in CL. They now know that with some luck & if they trust & execute managers plans they can succeed at this level. This game will do so much wonder for team & club in general. It raises the club profile & earns respect among viewing public world wide and more importantly improve their self-belief level

Absolutely!

It just looked like when he came on he directing players into new positions but those new positions never happened. Great to see our manager and players being so flexible though.

I was getting quite agitated with Rio's comments. "If I'm Kane I'm calling levy persistently saying "I want what they're on""

First of all, that says a lot about you as a person, if all you're thinking about is how much you can earn.

Secondly, ok let's go ahead and ignore strict FFP rules, upset the rest of the squad and put the club in a risky situation financially! Just pay him 300k a week, sure!!?

Can't some of these dimwits think logically?

It's not surprising from Ferdinand. If he can't remember to turn up for a drugs test THEN he isn't going to remember the nuisances of FFP!

I honestly think that we are now a Zaha type away from having all the tools we need to be a successful team. That performance and result showed we can go toe-to-toe with the best of them and not be fazed.

There's a long way to go and I don't think we will be as devastating as city but I don't think we'll need to be. I think we can be highly efficient and beat teams due to our strength and mentality.

Let's see how we do against Liverpool and United then we may start to understand whether or not we can be the ones pushing city.

I am DESPERATE to beat Liverpool on Sunday. I want to beat them as much as Arsenal and Chelsea this season. Just so fed up with their fans, pundits etc this year more than ever.

Thankfully we've 5 days to rest for it instead of 3 or 4 days and we should have Davies back by then.

Do you think he'll start with a fit Rose in the squad now?
