Does klopp count as a fan?

“It will be difficult to beat that record. It is quite rare to win 7-0 but it showed we did unbelievably well.

“Maribor were quite confident before the game for different reasons. We could read the papers over here because my assistant speaks the language and he said they were positive because no English team had won in Maribor (in the Champions League).

“The next game is Tottenham so it’s pretty likely it will not be a similar result. We have five days to recover and prepare and we are looking forward to it.”

Would love someone to track down a record of every Real Madrid home match in the CL group stages...

I am sure that the commentators mentioned last night that Real had lost once in their last 38 home European games, and that was to AC Milan in 2009?

“I read that the british press called it a "masterclass". If this (lining up with 5 defenders, having Achraf marked by a CB) is the best Tottenham can do, i'm not worried about the away match.‘

“lol masterclass. I was actually quite disappointed in Spurs. They were just parking the bus the whole game, number 2 of the PL playing like Granada lmao.”

“Yeah they played so well defensively, that Benzema had the opportunity to score 3 sitters. If he makes that goal in the 3rd minute its game over. There isn't anything spectacular about Spurs performance, the Depors and Getafes of this world did exactly the same park the bus, only difference is they didn't splash millions.”

"All those tactics and ultimately we were brought down by the idiocy of an own goal. At its imperious best, Real would wipe floor with every team in the EPL. Just ask Manure about that Supercup game. This team is rampant with injuries and out of form players yet all the British media will be pleasuring themselves for days because of a mediocre result.

You know who else played RM to a draw? Levante. So there, congrats on Tottenham accomplishing the same result as an average La Liga team. Hell, Betis is a better team than Tottenham since they actually BEAT Real Madrid. I have more respect for them."

"If BVB werent stinking it up right now i'd pip them to beat Tottenham."

Some of these are in response to a Brit or two trying to defend spurs and the EPL.

If anyone thinks we parked the bus against Real Madrid, they should try watching all our "home" league games so far this season!

5 at the back? 11 in the box more like.

Parking the bus is when you literally camp in your own box, put 10 men behind the ball and have no intention to attack, we never did that on Tuesday so I don't understand where this is coming from?

Haha almost tempted to go on there and do a RAWK style...how many of their players would get into our team...and begrudgingly conclude just Ronaldo but only because it would provide more competition for Eriksen

I doubt the plastics understand sarcasm

Who cares if a team 'parks the bus' anyway? It's just part of the tactical side of the game.

It bores the hell out of me when teams park the bus. Its incredibly frustrating to watch.

We didn’t park the bus on Tuesday night, we went out and played a balanced game. Sure we had 5 defenders, but our wingbacks got forward regularly.

I love it. Clearly little old Spurs have rattled the giants of Real Madrid. How dare we go to their home ground and take a point off them. What a bunch of deluded plastic pathetic mugs they are on that forum!!! They sound so bitter they couldn't break us down it's laughable. They talk about our own goal but fail to recognise their only goal was a penalty. They couldn't score in open play against us and it kills them. So f*** you Real Madrid. Were have you at Wembley and top the league. Let's see what you come out with then you bunch of bitter clowns!!!

If we had parked the bus as we've been accused of, how did we create as many good scoring opportunities as they did? Kane and Eriksen had 3 very good chances between them and they weren't comfortable at the back either.

There's no harm in admitting we adjusted our game against multiple CL winners a giant of a club team worldwide RM. We set up and defaulted into a defensive stance however when opportunities came up we attacked. It was a classic encounter and imo a draw was a fair result.

It was far from a typical Park the bus mantra whereby teams just come blatantly to defend without the thought to attack ie Swansea and others this season dare I say Man United under Mourinho.

As evidenced by the fact that one our five backs got to the byline and crossed for the goal:)
