What wind? its a bit breezy but nothing more than that, I thought the bad winds were a couple of hundred miles away at least, is it bad in London then?

There's been no meaningful wind in London today. Weird yellow sky, but just a breeze and unseasonable warmth. I'm 5 miles from WHL.

I'm just off Camden Rd, halfway between Camden Town and Holloway. It's a bit gusty occasionally, but nothing remotely resembling a storm.

Tower cranes 20m/s (45mph)
Crawler cranes 14m/s (31mph)
Mobile cranes 9.8m/s (22mph)
But if it is gusty I think you would take the crane out of action at 80% of average wind speed. It would need discussion with the crane drivers. I would imagine there was very little crane activity yesterday.

I doubt a couple of very windy days is going to alter the timetable of a building project that's taken years to build and has another year to completion.
The only weather situation that's going to cause a problem surely is a freakishly cold and snowy winter.

And the impact of that would be diminished if the bad weather happens after the roof is on. There would be difficulties in delivering materials and in labour getting to the site to work, but most trades could continue to work indoors, fitting out the spaces.

Ive seen mentioned elsewhere that an update to the construction method of the park lane has meant the capacityhas increased by 500. Anyone heard this?

That was released some time ago when it was announced that capacity of the south stand would be 17,500 up from 17,000. The overall stadium capacity will be approximately 61,500 give or take a handful of people.

I know it was a little cringe but i liked the fact our capacity was going to be 61461.
61559 just seems arbitary.
