Not sure barkley is even the answer anymore. We need somebody who will come in and hit the ground running or at least be upto speed with a pre season etc.

Pretty concerning. Not looking very good if we are relying mainly on dier/winks/sissoko in cm. We need options and variations. Eriksen will need to drop in on certsin games.

Then we've always got the Rose in DM ala Madrid to try on Wednesday, see how that pans out.
If both Rose and Davies available, then I think it's very possible both may get game time on Sunday. Could start either, and sub depending on how the game and player is panning out. Both need game time right now, particularly Rose, with Utd and Real coming up. Nice to have those LWB squad options, along with Verts and KWP if need be..

Dembele is actually in training photos today on getty so can’t be that bad.

But the issue seems to be that he can't train as intense as the rest. Not that he can't train at all, very king like in the swimming pool.

But then lamela had the same complete last year now is back to full intense training.
Suppose youth on his side though, Dembele perhaps just can't recover for multiple hip ops .

Real shame, would've liked to have seen him strut his moose stuff in Madrid

Of course Dembele will not try this, but I believe having the following would help revitalise his lymph fluids, at worse removing that as a variable:

Mix:

100 grams of Kelp (Algazim recommended)
100 grams unsulphured blackstrap molasses
20ml of Limewater (calcium hydroxide) or 1gram Calcium Carbonate
200ml water
Juice of 1/2 - 1 Lemon
(it should be neither chalky, from too much Calcium, or tart from too much Lemon)

The lemon is to supply weak acid for the Alkaline minerals to react against, may use ACV except where adrenal issues exist.

This is an Alkalising drink/paste. Refrigerate. Take 1 table spoon hourly (ideally), or 2-3 every 2-3hours (type of deal) . This paste should be taken in the first half of the day largely, with a pinch of Epsom Salts in water with meals, this combination may help the liver and kidneys deal with the excessive Nitrogen waste it seems Dembele may be struggling to deal with.

The players need to thank their lucky stars Poch doesn't employ me, or they'd be learning to love the taste of Kelp.

Lucky you weren't around in the Middle Ages with that potion - they'll be dragging you to the stake!

Used to love kombu (kelp) when I lived in Japan. Kelp (wet seaweed) always gave me a boost after a few hours. I remember being told about thyroid/ metabolism relation and infection-fighting qualities of kombu.

Fingers crossed for big Vic. Him and Dembele are such beasts. Huge misses over the course of a season.

It is the nearest thing to alchemy I know, highlander types (Comte St Germain) are doubtless coming for me once I understand this stuff fully! :)
