Incredible game, attack v attack.

Glad Poch for the first time isn't playing into klopps hands. Sitting deep and picking them off with longer balls and quick counters like all the bottom half teams do against them.

Should be 3-0. Certain Kane was fouled but oh well.
Just really need to cut the supply to Salah

Fuck me what a match, loving this.

Klopp's a fraud, he doesn't know how to get his teams to defend, really basic shit.

Why do people get sucked into this anti Aurier narrative that the pundits run with. Davies would constantly be toast against Salah if were playing.

Is it a fluke or does alli just look so more at home deeper and latching onto loose balls and busting forward?

Cracking half! Just need to keep cool and defend as we normally do. Who needs a dm?

I think that as well, I think he is better as a Lampard/Gerrard type player rather than one that plays in a more advanced position.

Again - anything over the top is causing them MAJOR problems today.

Just keep plugging away at it. Keep knocking it to Toby and tripps to drop it over.

Keep winning set pieces.

Pool have no answer to it today.

Off out for the second half.

If we do the above we'll get 2 or 3 more goals.

COYS!!!

and likewise with us, it’s the balls over the top that are cutting us open. For all Liverpool’s pussy footing around they lack killer instinct, whereas we’ve been clinical.

Jesus, how hard did Poch own Klopp with selections & formations today? Liverpool were stunned at the start, looked drunk, could easily have conceded 3 in 20 minutes.

This midfield setup really has the legs to get around the pitch and keep the intensity. Winks and dele look comfortable playing together.
I like dier but he does look a bit one paced against this type of opponent

When Alli's goal went in, Trippier immediately turned to the fans on the other side of the pitch and celebrated with them. I love it when players show that it means something to them.

Oh, next ad break is Dier v Sturridge? I'm assuming Sturridge gets injured before they even start.

Pochettino making Lovren look like a good defender at Southampton is one of the greatest coaching achievements in the history of sports.

Also, is it just me or does it look like Son has gained a yard of pace? He has been my MOTM so far, been absolutely wonderful to watch.

Eriksen looks like he is having a dip in form at the moment or having a hangover from Madrid, hopefully our little Maestro turns the class back on soon.

I've seen enough to know that Aurier despite his occasional recklessness is a quality footballer. That turn on the left side when he had 3 Liverpool players on him was class. He reminds me of Marcelo from Madrid in that he looks like he's good at most things.

100mph game. Great for the neutrals, for those invested in it though.....

We'll get more chances here, we just have to stay disciplined. Work as a unit and talk to each other - if the guy marking Salah is running with him, the others don't play offside we all drop etc. Also that's two goals this week where we've been brutally punished for losing the ball in our half by over playing when if in doubt you whack it over the top, turn them around, and we can reorganise. Play smart.

Really not a bad a team of players who aren't starting today ! Depth is getting really good.

Such a deserved third. Ideally, they chase, we get another and then we are into spanking territory, fingers crossed.
