Those quotes from RedCafe by @KILLA_SIN earlier. Was reading through them, and mid-way thought to myself how mad it was i was reading this from Man United fans. All through my childhood, they were by far and away the best team in the country over that period. It's mental how far we've come, to now see they're depressed at being at a lesser level than us

United are more self aware than Pool fans still surprises Liverpool fans that we have finished above them however many times, United fans will usually be aware that we have finished above for 4? Seasons. They know we're the better side Pool are starting to come round to that noticed that on there msg boards last see a son, Arsenal started to get it last season towards the end of and are mentioning it quite a bit more now,

I alway thought once we get to grips with playing at Wembley and that pitch size week in out , it would actually enhance our game mentality...the early indication of this was when we played Madrid our players now are used to playing in big stadiums and we didn't freeze in front of the headlights.
I did predict this. When most were saying we wont do as well as last season because of the Wembley factor, I said if we didn't do well it would not be because of Wembley, as after a couple of months playing there we would own it!!

I actually thought the SKY pundits were very generous in their praise of us today, particularly Henry and Souness, the word brilliant was exercised frequently.

Can someone send me a link to the full game? I took a hit for the team when I switched the game off after they scored (yes I really am that superstitious), which seemed to work as we scored 2 more and they didn't.

I REALLY want to watch this game now.

Thought Souness was talking out of his arse really. Seemed to want to blame it all on Lovren alone to excuse Klopp for not improving Liverpool's defence yet forgot how everyone was raving about Lovren when he was at Southampton under Pochettino. Then went on about why didn't they sign Van Dijk saying he can solve all their defensive problems. A minute later says one player won't solve all their problems. Actually thought Keown on MotD2 did a much better analysis of how Liverpool's problems are collective rather than individual.

"-Rose, Eriksen, Ali and Kane in our team and we would be a force. Whats more likely is Poch replacing Mou down the line."

Err it'll be easier if you just came and supported us mate
no lie was thinking the exact same thing when I read that

I didn't think he meant any of that like you think, he said they tried and failed to improve their defence and has absolutely no need to 'remember' anything in order to provide the balance you seem to be looking for, her was criticising Lovren for his performance today, not critiquing his career. He didn't say Van Dijk would solve all their problems he said it'd help.

Their problems and their defensive problems are actually two separate things in the context he was talking about. Jeez, you must really hate him if you skew it all that much :D

Tell a utd fan that we are a rival to them and they will laugh in your face.

His singling out of Lovren was very pointed, saying he 'can't be trusted' and only mentioning him in regards to our first two goals - not mentioning that it was Gomez playing Kane onside for the first when he could see along the line, nor saying anything about Matip not closing Kane down for the second. Why can't he be trusted now when not so long ago he was considered one of the best defenders in the Premier League when coached by Pochettino? Surely that is indicative of two successive Liverpool managers, not Lovren himself alone. Can Matip be trusted when he was at fault for the second and third goals? He was a Klopp signing, though.

You're being incredibly pedantic though, when referring to 'all their problems' they were talking in the context of Liverpool's defence being shit. And it's also worth considering that Liverpool conceded just as many with Lovren off the pitch as they did with him on it.

Do you really think I'm going to watch that all again? :D Of course his singling out of Lovren was pointed, the guy had a fucking nightmare :p

Am I the only one laughing at the way the title is cropped as 'Full Post Match Anal' ?

And why does Souness always look like he's plotting the different ways he'd like to torture and kill the other pundits?
