Comedy gold...
Lindelof looks like Maldini compared to Lovren. That's how bad he is.

Poch has modified his tactics this year against pressing teams. For his first 3 years at Spurs we struggled in matches against other pressing teams, but this year we're sitting deeper and playing much more direct and on the counter against these types of teams (Dortmund, Madrid, Liverpool) and it's paying dividends. Kane / Son / Alli / Eriksen are just lethal on the counter and Poch is really starting to use that as a strength.
Klopp has brought it on himself by completely fucking up in the summer.
He won't go this season, well probably not, but to see our season over in October, undone by something that everyone could foresee and predict - it fucking hurts. I don't feel anything any longer for this team nor this manager. I have no time to watch people regress and shoot themselves in the foot. Let me know when they decide to take it seriously - in the meantime they can pretend to be a club, pretend to be a team and we'll pretend to be supporters - but it's all bullshit.
What a fine example of a fair whether fan.
Someone who is a studies the game.
His singling out of Lovren was very pointed, saying he 'can't be trusted' and only mentioning him in regards to our first two goals - not mentioning that it was Gomez playing Kane onside for the first when he could see along the line, nor saying anything about Matip not closing Kane down for the second. Why can't he be trusted now when not so long ago he was considered one of the best defenders in the Premier League when coached by Pochettino? Surely that is indicative of two successive Liverpool managers, not Lovren himself alone. Can Matip be trusted when he was at fault for the second and third goals? He was a Klopp signing, though.
You're being incredibly pedantic though, when referring to 'all their problems' they were talking in the context of Liverpool's defence being shit. And it's also worth considering that Liverpool conceded just as many with Lovren off the pitch as they did with him on it.
For me Gomez was at fault more than Lovren but he did play his part.
Absolutely Kane was a good 2-3 yards offside as far as Lovren was concerned, which is why he wasn't closer to him. Looks like a bit of a kop out to just blame the player tasked with marking Kane tbh. We are talking about the most prolific striker in the world atm, so to expect anyone to singlehandedly keep him quiet is just far too much to ask imo. When his team mates are making that job even harder the bloke has no chance at all. The second goal is in large down to him though as he is never getting that ball and had no business diving in for it like that.I was amazed that not one of the pundits afforded any of the blame to Gomez. Especially Neville who usually focusses on the full backs first. If Gomez had looked across the line he would have seen he was the only one playing Kane onside. Lovren had a nightmare game, but if a CB plays offside the FB on the far side has to hold the same line.
Klopp hasn’t the first idea how to coach a defensive unit. He’s had more or less the same amount of time now as Poch and they haven’t improved in that area at all. It’s actually quite shocking his failings - there is no shape, no organisation, no leadership at the back - it’s just 4 names in the hope they can stop opposition attacks. Goes beyond yesterday.
I think I read somewhere he has 7 assists for Harry Kane in 2017.I think too many people are looking at that single moment and not remembering the beautiful slick passing and Tripp's vision to dink that little chip over the top for Kane to run on to. I thought Trippier was immense yesterday and despite a couple of slip ups one of the reasons we got on to the front foot so early on. He just gets better and better.

Mark Clattenburg was in the studio in Norway and while mostly praising the lino for keeping his flag down he was very quick to put Gomez at fault and not Lovren. I find it incredible to hear that the UK TV pundits didn't see that.I was amazed that not one of the pundits afforded any of the blame to Gomez. the 5th or 6th one down here mentions Gomez and the goalie as well as Lovren: http://www.football365.com/news/16-conclusions-tottenham-4-1-liverpoolMark Clattenburg was in the studio in Norway and while mostly praising the lino for keeping his flag down he was very quick to put Gomez at fault and not Lovren. Reading the article it appears a massacre, then you look at the stats and they tell a different story. Spurs scored 4 from their five shots on target; Liverpool had 7 shots, overwhelming possession and scored only once. Is this finally the moment Spurs get used to playing at Wembley. They need to produce next weekend to pretty much knock The mighty Man U out of the title race.
Bumped into my scouse friend on Wembley way... He got kicked out after Kane's first goal for not celebrating hard enoughSeemed to be 'bring your scouser to work day" at Wembley yesterday.... Hope all our guests had fun!
Sadly my scouser friend chickened out
