In that respect the dream would be to take someone brought through their academy on a free, but that ain't gonna happen because they don't produce anyone worth taking!
That young RB they played the other day looked a real prospect.

Get a load of this guy.

"Top German team"? FC Koln? Don't get me wrong they're a well-supported clubbut they're a long way off being a top team. They're a complete yo-yo club. At best they finish mid-table but then lose their best players and get relegated, but are too good for the 2. Bundesliga so rebuild, come back up, rinse and repeat.

I remember the days when we'd be seeing an Arsenal result come in and feel jealous and revolted. Nowadays even when they get a big win we better it! (y)

I used to hate them, be jealous of them, now I'm not even interested on how they do. What a team they used to have, I don't think they'll make the top 4 again

We have other distractions but it's always going to be important to hate Arsenal. The worst thing they did was to think we didn't matter anymore. Suddenly, when the trophies dried up they remembered we were rivals again. Only 9 games gone and we have them soon. The rivalry is as big as ever.

Games like yesterday do nothing but paper over the cracks for me and i think their fans think the same. The quality in the team (mainly Sanchez) gives them drive and focus for their play. Take that away and you have an average set of players who lack leadership on the pitch.

Sanchez was the biggest difference by far between the two teams yesterday. Take him out and other quality doesn't tend to perform. Lacazette gets no ammo, Ozil has nothing to play from, no possession to work with in the final third.

Key man potentially off on a free in the summer. It's laughable.

They must have been good in the olden days coz Tony "Timberprick' Woodcock (ex Forest/Arse\England used to play there.

Indeed, they still managed to concede twice to a very poor Everton side. Big problems at Arsenal that IMO will become amplified during the January window.

Absolutely - Panic stations time and not a great time of year to be dealing with mess.

Surely by then they'll know if Ozil (replaceable IMO) or Sanchez (one of the best in the world) are actually staying and it will be hard for them not to show their hand at that point. If they/one of them are off, we'll see some big (potentially bad) moves. Everything they're doing at the moment is very reactive, none of it with a long term plan or strategy in mind. They got lazy and they're starting to pay the price.

Well, I'm not local so I guess my opinion might not be relevant, but I don't give a shit like Morgan Freeman would say.

North London Derby has always been for me the number one fixture of the season. But now I have noticed that I care very little how they are playing, do they beat teams like Everton etc. Most Arsenal players are dull as Superhero Movies (any adult who's watching those movies should hang themselves ;)), their fans are very funny and Arsenal fanTV reminds me of the Muppet Show. I don't like Arsenal but I feel like for now there's nothing but the crest and history why I should hate them.

Of course I care this fixture, but I have also noticed I'm much more passionate (not on purpose) when I'm watching us playing against Chelsea and West Ham. I have even started to feel like Spurs players don't treat North London Derby as derby. Clean game and easy three points.

Yeah but we're talking about payback for Judas here, someone brought through their academy who is the finished product....not a 'prospect'.

The day I don't want us to beat Le Scum is the day I don't care about Spurs (or even footy in general). It's as simple as that.

I dunno mate, what I saw of him, at 17 years of age, would have me feeling that, if we took him off them and turned him into a star, the goons would go batshit mental that he got away.
He's a fullback, and we know what Poch does with fullbacks.

Whilst it would be nice to take a star off them, losing probably their brightest prospect would send them right over the edge IMO.

Are we seriously debating not caring about the matches vs. Arsenal? :stop:
We don't care about West Ham
We are despised by Chelsea
But we truly hate Arsenal.

So Giroud wins the Puskas goal of the year award(rightfully imo) and thanks every man and his dog except Wenger. I'd like to think it was intententional.

After the game Giroud said it was a lucky shot.

Just realised Arsenal have yet another easy home cup draw tonight (and only a few days after Norwich have played their major derby of the year). Tis a conspiracy I tell thee...

Death, taxes and Arsenal cup draws against lower league teams
