Any one know how Loft got on today?

When he came on as a sub vs Wimbledon he was pretty terrible...

he only played 10 mins so doubt there was much to report.

we know he's not good enough but spurs are far less ruthless than most when it comes to academy players who aren't going to make the grade, they'll still do their best to help them forge a career for themselves elsewhere.

would make little financial sense to do so. one good season in the pl at 20/21 and his value would rocket.
Tbh I always think Ccv is older than he is.So start of next season he will be 20.Which is still very young for a CB.Im actually pretty confident either him or foyth could come in to a back 3 with Toby / Sanchez and do a job against lesser PL teams.i guess having foyth and Ccv next season gradually bleeding them into team winks style makes sense. And make decision end next season when jan will probably have to eased out.

out of the drop zone and up into 9th, wooo.

interestingly, we're 2nd for goals scored but bottom for goals conceded so it's clear where we need to improve. thought we'd have moved to a back three to emulate the first team by now but we seem to be sticking with the four, at some point i'd like to see us go with hinds rwb, eyoma rcb, tanganga cb, brown/lyons-foster lcb and bennetts/tsaroulla/brown lwb.

That and rotate Brown into LCB and let BLF play between age groups. We won't see it though as Dinzeyi is also decent and apaprently rated I read somewhere unless someone based that assumption on going on preseason

@Romulus Nile John has been called up for the England u15 camps

I believe our u15s won a tournament featuring Birmingham, Arsenal and Liverpool.

We beat Birmginham, drew with Arsenal. Beat Birmingham in semis and then beat Liverpool 2-0 in the final.

Troy Parrott scored as ROI beat NI 1-0. He always seems to be away on international duty. Reminds me of Edwards at u16s never saw much of him unless it was for England for some reason.

Also it may have been missed a while ago but Binks has been called up for the Algarve tournament I believe with Eng u17s

yeah, i kind of forgot about dinzeyi as he's been out for a while(plus, as you know i'm not really a fan).

speaking of injuries, where the heck is your boy tsaroulla, @Lilbaz? i remember he was on the bench for a game a month or so ago but has disappeared again since. brown's been out for a bit as well, maybe once they're all back we might see us change to the back three.

He had a car crash and suffered whiplash. Should be back soon.

Little summary of CCVs season thus far from a Sheffield journalist. Seems promising and worthwhile, especially given the 3 ATB formation and spreading the ball around from defence style...
Has anyone been able to watch any of his games this year?

I've been wondering if United operate with a deep block or use anything remotely close to a high line.

The one major issue I noticed during pre-season was that CCVs first instinct was always to drop very deep and it threw him off the same wavelength as the other defenders. So I'd like to see him get some time in a system employing a high line or something similar as I think he just needs the experience to get that instinct re-wired.

only saw the game against wednesday. the author in that article says ccv played dm that day but he definitely didn't, he played rcb just like he has most other times he's played - though lately he's being playing in the centre of the three I believe. that day they defended quite deep from what i can remember so never really got tested with the ball in behind. can't speak for how they've played in other games but as mentioned earlier their game against leeds is on sky on friday so should be able to get another look at them.

You very rarely see a player on loan for 2 years at same club.I think if foyth performs this season he will be sold.

It's not unheard of though, look at Kasey Palmer, who Chelsea loaned to Huddersfield this season and last.

Got a Harry Kane type feeling about Troy parrott no idea why, never really seen him play lol.
One thing about Irish kids is that they are usually tough as nails as they've all played the Gaelic sports too. Big advantage in football if they've got the skills to go with it.

Would love if we had a real another real promising number 9 coming through.I have a feeling Harrison and sterling won’t cut it.I think griffiths is higher regarded.

Would be nice as having a real focal point up top would give the youth teams so much more confidence and ability to express themselves in matches. Everything becomes so much easier on a football pitch if your front man is a real handful.
