Really wish we had played some young players in this competition. The way we were strutting around showed how much we value it.

This seriously won't affect us on Saturday. We've had bad performances and scorelines over the last few years, and we ALWAYS come back strong. Honestly, it amazes me the lack of faith people have in Poch and this team. We are still one of the best teams around, we are still going to be in the title race. We will probably play United off the park...and win.

What I love about us now, is that we learn. COYS!

Very odd showing from.us. Started well, cruised and then came out second half in a coma.

They got a goal, raised their tempo and we completely buckled at the back and conceded two more.

We then go for the comeback by taking off our CF. Seemed a very odd decision unless Llorente had picked up a knock.

So we're out now and could have done with having Dele and Son fresh for Saturday.

I'm not that bothered we're out, but either go for it properly or play a full second string. Never a fan of these half way house teams.

I'd of played a complete second string and West Ham would of had little bragging rights and we were 100 per cent ready for Saturday.

Completely random taking Llorente off THEN we try and cross the ball. Woeful second half.

Didnt get that as well. Put 30 crosses in the box when we take off Llorente...Poch got it very wrong with his substitutions. He left it too late and took off the wrong players. Who needs four CBs on the pitch at this stage?

Very annoying because there was no need for that. We switched completely off and couldnt defend a fucking corner.

Well that went well...
Fuck me, but it's football. Better to get these mistakes out of the way tonight and get reorganised for Saturday.
\They will remember this night for generations, we will forget it and move on to bigger things.
United on Saturday, Real on Wednesday, and they've got the London Stadium to look forward to.

West ham acting like they have won the cup. Yeah it's their cup final

Why shouldn’t they? They’ve embarrassed us tonight. It’s the biggest game in their season and they’ve come from 2-0 down to win.

The fact they are celebrating on our “home” pitch like that should make our lot ask more than a few questions. Truly pathetic

Not really too arsed about the fringe players but Alli and Dier need to wake the fuck up.

Winks should be ahead of Dier now, he just strolls around making safe passes.

Alli holds onto the ball far too long.

Losing from 2-0 up against West Ham is inexcusable. However, having Poch continually talk down this competition would have some affect on the players.

I love Poch, but I really, really hate how he treats the cups. 3-2 down at home and he takes off Son for N'Koudou. Fans spent a lot of time and money to come first to the Barnsley game and now tonight, in the hopes of seeing us win a trophy. It's now been over 3,500 days since we actually won one after all. And that's what they're treated too. I know we have to rest players, and I accept that. But the minimum, the absolute minimum in terms of prep is that you go over set-piece routines which we clearly didn't, adapt to a game rapidly going against you at least after the first two goals you concede which we didn't, and get the players to go for it which he actively discouraged. I'm sorry but it's just not good enough and it completely goes against our traditions as a club. Nicholson and Berkinshaw would be absolutely fuming at tonight just like most of us are now. Everyone in this squad, the manager included, will be all smiles again tomorrow morning.

Hummm...
1) Well that made me physically sick as it did my 1 year old who actually chundered at the exact moment their 3rd went in.
2) We don't have much upfront without Harry.
3) Though why take Llorente off? Meant we had even less upfront...Managerial lobotomy right there.
4) Looked shite under pressure at the back without the standard pairing and understandings.
5) All in all? Fucking horrible to lose to the Spammers ever.
6) But perhaps a good reality check in a meaningless pile of shite cup.

The problem was West Ham were so truly awful in the first half our players thought they could stroll it, not risk injury and take it easy. The moment they scored their urgency lifted ten fold and we struggled to raise our levels. They deserve a monumental blocking for that. They haven't achieved anything yet.

Don't care about losing to West Ham. I do care about throwing away a early, comfortable lead. The trade mark of the team this season has been to not get complacent whatever happens. Today they did.

Sissoko played the 6-9 best minutes of football he has ever played in his career. N'Koudou is clearly not up for it and fans should stop calling for him to play. He has too much to learn.

Can someone explain to me why when we’re losing in a knockout competition we take our only 2 strikers off the pitch?

When you have the MANAGER saying that he doesn’t give a toss about this cup, what do you expect the players to think exactly?!

Wish Poch would stop this fucking narrative that we only want the PL or CL. The fans desperately want a trophy and i’m pretty damn sure that, when the players retire, they will want to look back at the trophies that they’ve won.
