Loved it. Not only holding the ball up and drawin that free kick, but also shithousing to the extent that it threw West Ham further off balance.

Didn't do much tonight.... But just having him in the team draws defenders towards him.

Freeing up Kane to get his 2nd and 3rd goals of the night.

Obviously far too early to write him off but so far, even taking his limited game time into account, he hasn't done anything noteworthy at all. I hope there's a lot more to come from him.

He needs crosses into the box. So far he's just come on at end of games and not had one cross to attack.

Agreed. He's not looked any sort of goal threat so far and it's probably because we haven't put the ball in the box for him.

Let's not forget that Conte is currently all kinds of upset because he has to make do with Batshuayi, a player he clearly doesn't rate, because they couldn't get Llorente.

They only signed Batshuayi so that he couldn't sign for us...that's the best thing about this. :D

He was pretty good tonight, and because of him we almost got the lead at the end... twice... at the freaking Bernabeu.

And he should have had a penalty when Casemiro clearly brought him down. Stone wall penalty. I can't believe the English commentators who said it wasn't a penalty.

Let's see how LLorente fares against West Ham's kids. As others have mentioned, would be nice to see him catch fire and relieve some of weight off of Kane's shoulders.

2 or 3 flicks that was it.wouldnt consider him If Kane has injury, would be Son 100%.
It was a strange purchase.

Whatever he does with the ball he does it with quality, but he's not someone I want in for Kane for a stretch if kane gets injured.

If he doesn't get a specific type of service his value on the field plummets.

Can't afford that.

He did ok tonight, but I can't help to think if only he made that extra effort to get on the end of trippier's crosses.

Build up play is good. Harry Kane averages 6.3 shots per game. Can’t remember 6.3 shots in total in Llorente’s Spurs career to date.

Jury’s out. Not the reason we lost tonight.

Not a great night for the big man. Couple of nice flicks but that was it. He didn’t look any sort of goal threat again, which is an issue which has plagued our second choice strikers for a while now.

Not sure why anyone is surprised. He's a slow target man that is good in the air, If we're not gonna put crosses into the box on a consistent basis then no point playing him. Ironically we started putting crosses in when he was off the pitch. Wtf was the point of that?

His hold up play was excellent for a while, but he will struggle to last whole games. Which is well as long as Kane is fit, could be an issue if we depend on Llorente as main striker.
As others have said, weird how we took him off just as we began to play to his strengths and needed someone in the box.
