That's difference between champions and us. Fuck sky loving this
So bored of how biased the media and commentators are week in week out as they suck the juice from their usual heros.
For the record - best team in the country for the past two calendar years by some margin is THFC - ManUre, Pool and The Ar$e are all striving to get to our level - not the other way round. The media and that lot - Mutual wankers the lot of them.

I thought our defense played well, obviously except for the goal. We kept them at bay for most of the game, and except for a few chances - they didn't really threaten like they use to vs. us.

However, the rest of our players played very timid and without any real belief :/

We absolutely dominated Utd at our "Finale" game at WHL, where we showed aggression and a definitive belief that we would walk out of that match the victorious side - one of the best games I've seen. I really wonder what changed. Can the omission of one top player (Kane) mean that much to the rest of the team?

Anyway, still disappointed we lost, but not impressed by Utd and I thought this game could've gone either way.

Four home wins, no goals conceded, i'd say that puts them head and shoulders better than us. Sometimes pride has to take a back seat and some recognition of the better all around side.

We are a team who depend on one player, and today proved that point beyond any shadow of a doubt.
Can someone save this for the end of the season please.

just needed to release the ball early, but wanted to hang onto it today.

Not the game for that.
There's a reason he (has to) holds on to the ball so long but people don't want to acknowledge it. But with all my issues with him I didn't think he was bad today.

I know Dier was largely to blame - but who gave Lakaku that amount of room unchallenged to win the initial header? Would that have been Toby?

Aurier was rubbish. Young was getting the better of him ffs

There's something about these away games where we just shrink. That's with Kane too. These games are just replays of the previous year

Trying not to overreact as I felt we battled for the majority and didn't deserve to lose.

However, there is a final hurdle that we have been screaming for the team to overcome and it's coming to these places and not being afraid to either go and win the game or manage the game in-play better.

If this team is to win something this will need to change in the next two years otherwise players will question whether we ever will win anything.

I don't think we set up for a draw. That was just a very hard fought game, this is a very decent Manu managed by Mourinho, fired up after losing last week, right at it against a big rival, we are not going to be given time and space to fuck around. That game could have gone either way and an odd mistake or moment of quality would win it.
And once again that when it comes to fine margins in the big matches we find ourselves on the wrong side.

Architects of our own downfall and indicative of a team that ultimately will always be the bridesmaid.

Whilst we might perform fantastically in games like the one against Madrid, I seriously doubt our ability to win a trophy when we have games like today, when it comes to 6 pointers like this, games where it can really make a difference we always seem to lose the plot in the PL.

We need to stop being the team that is always chasing and start being the team that is leading, this is our issue, for all the talk of how great we are, not once over the last two seasons have we occupied top spot in this league, our away record against the big 6 reads like a team from mid-table, not one that has finished 3rd and 2nd the last few seasons.
Simply put we are pussies away from home against the top six our record shows that and it's not up for debate imo.

Was a controlled performance, but we were rather insipid going forward, especially when Eriksen was a touch deeper. When Dembele came on, the Dane moved closer to the striker and we looked a little more threatening.

But overall, we played to Mourinho’s tune in that we matched their cautiousness, and one goal would be the difference.

Zero chance of winning the league until we improve our away form against rivals. Today was there for taking. We're so close but have been for 3 years. Don't even think it's a need to improve team, it's a mentality thing. We keep acting like we used to when we're so so much more these days.
Look, it's not as though we have the attacking depth of some of our rivals.

There was times he had short options but dismissed them and hung onto it. There were other times no one was moving ahead of him - which happens too often with us - and he waited for movement.

Too much of the former for me today.

He didn't stink the joint out, though.

Well some good news, lamela posted before the game he hopes to be playing soon.

Put some pressure on erisken and Alli who have been too comfortable this season
I know Dier was largely to blame - but who gave Lakaku that amount of room unchallenged to win the initial header? Would that have been Toby?
And Jan gets away without any blame when he was the one that wasn't goal side of his man who scored... okay then.

Dear oh dear. Some of the comments are embarrassing. The record against the top 6 is very poor so we can't win the league. Ok. So Liverpool, who have a great record can win the league then?

I am gutted about the result, we played well and gave away a sloppy goal. But bloody hell, we move on. That is what top sides do and I have no doubt that is what we will do.

My manure mate with me now was all for parking the bus after scoring.. I was puzzled how they could be so proud parking the bus.. He said he doesn't mind parking the bus winning the championship..

That's the manure supporters now..

I met 3 manure fans from yesterday till today and they were all so afraid, but heaving a sigh of relief because Kane was not playing..

That's Tottenham to them now..

Just rewatched the last 90 seconds. Ball went out for Ashley Youngs sub at 91:30. Ball goes live again at 92:02 and then goes dead for the goal kick at 92:15. The ball then goes live again at 92.55 and then the ref blows on 93:01.

What is the fucking point of adding on time at all? Bloody joke and the worst thing is no-one cares so it keeps happening.

If it was us 1-0 up and the roles were reversed you know for a fact the whistle wouldn't have been blown until 95ish. That's what is infuriating, the favouritism and lack of consistency.

Not like we would have scored in that time though. Neither team deserved it yet those lucky ****s get away with the 3 points.
