You aren't allowed to have any complaints or criticism - didn't you get the memo?

If you're disappointed in any way then you're forgetting how good you've got it - we had 2 points from 8 games at one point don't forget - where were you 10/20/30 years ago when we were shit? etc

Especially don't date post anything even slightly negative in the match thread - then you're definitely having a "meltdown" and you're "worse than RAWK". Won't be long before you're told to "fucking man up/grow some balls" etc.

Even if you love Poch and what he's done and think this Spurs team are the best you've seen in years, one negative comment and people will assume you're an ungrateful bastard who has no idea how good he's got it.

Don't make the mistake of thinking you're posting on an internet forum which is designed for the discussion of differing opinions - you're actually in a carefully-controlled micro-climate where any dissenting views are met with a flurry of negs and regular questioning of your age/intelligence/sexuality.

Hmm.

I don't think anyone disputes that the point of an online forum is to discuss a wide spectrum of different ideas, opinions and theories.

The issue is that when these are expressed in a way such as "X is useless", "Y Is a twat", ""We're going to lose 5-0", "Pochettino is clueless", etc. - it's not exactly reasoned, intelligent debate, is it?

I think we are missing that final piece of the puzzle mentally. It might be an impossible job for him because historically (recently) we are a failure of a club. We simply don't have that winning aura and we just can't shake off this always lets you down sense despite us being a superb team these days. I hope he can instil this into the team/club but he himself hasn't won anything either as a manager.

I don't think him, the team or anyone in particular is to blame, the fact is Man Utd etc are one thing and we are another. Only way I can feasibly see it changing is by winning something, anything, other than that I don't know what can be done. It's pointing towards another year of nearly but nothing to show. 3 years in a row with no evidence of change.
I don't agree with you at all. We need better players. And better depth. But we're operating on a very tight budget at the moment.

Utd killed the game. Killed the entertainment and got the break. Mourinho is excellent at that. Personally would have had Llorente on instead of Sissoko but not sure it would have made a huge difference.

We're unlikely to win the league. The Sheikh Mansour team will have that honour. It's what happens when your squad costs half a billion. Top 4 will suffice for us but we need a trophy somewhere this season.

Disagree. There is nothing wrong mentally with the club now. You simply can't win every game. Sometimes the winner is down to luck. The right bounce of the ball. The officials. Finishing on the day. Injuries. All these components matter.

We can only aim to be consistent in our quality which we are now. The trouble is that there is another squad in City's that is better than ours and Utd and Chelsea are also close.

Always good to have a better squad. Not sure how good we have to be to win a single away game against a rival. Feels like we have to have a peak Barca side to have a chance of winning some of these huge games, woeful record for the team we have.

How can it be three minutes, and then a sub and then still only three mins

Does it really matter when we were bollockless for the previous 92mins? This is the most predictable result in football, we never have and probably never will go there with any real belief that we're going to win, it's a fatal flaw in the character of every Spurs team I've ever watched.

If I remember correctly we won there a few times quite recently...

To me, we were playing either with complete lack of belief or with feeling that a draw would be great. The team was set up for a cautious plan, when they should have abandon caution with a desire to score above all else. You don't defeat Mourinho by caution. It is also almost like the guys truly believe that they are the Kane team. Lastly, it was too easy for United to push the entire team back, making it look like we were all a bunch of schoolboy midfielders. Basically, this game showcased all my pet peeves with this season's team and none of its strengths.

We need a CM who can affect the game.Drive forward create a chance or score a goal.Winks is tidy but I’m not seeing a lot more.Dembele keeps the ball well but creates nothing.Sissoko is poor against quality opponents.Maybe it’s dele or maybe we have to buy one.

And playing at fucking Wembley. Which is being very conveniently forgotten right now.
Which is why, before the season started, I said we needed to win a domestic cup...then poch comes out and basically says the league cup is rubbish. :D

Strange how we took it for granted and got jacked in the second half against spam.

Look, I know we have to be sensible when it comes to money, but I am not satisfied with our player recruitment. We didn't do what we absolutely needed to do in the last transfer window.

If there is one question mark I have over Poch, it is his ability to spot creative players. Cultured players who are good in a tight spot. And I don't care what anyone says-our striker/winger recruitment is criminal.

We only play City twice though and haven't even played them yet. Our team in my opinion is the second best on paper, which should mean we beat some of our rivals away - which we aren't. Last two years we had possibly the best team on paper and weren't performing well away at rivals.

There's only so many times can blame luck, bounce of ball, a game changer before you have to look at something deeper. I don't believe we have that mentality to win these huge away games, and you cannot win the league until do it. Not changing that opinion until I see any evidence of change.
