On a different note - but equally cringey - did anyone see the state of Allardyce on MOTD last night? I'm only just getting caught up on it all. Looked like he's ready for a night out in Benidorm with his Little Englander patched shirt and neck chain exposed.
Look anything like this.

A few media outlets now reporting Bilic has been sacked and an announcement will come at lunchtime. Moyes to take over.

Steven Pienaar, Darron Gibson and Victor Anichebe are sitting anxiously by the phone, waiting for Moysie's call.

Bilic has looked a broken man most weeks for about a year now. After so much speculation about his future, and working at that shambles of a club, he'll probably be happy to take the payoff and have a break.

Poor old Bilic. Way too good for West Ham and will hopefully get another job soon. The scheming, desperate and incompetent Moyes seems ideal for the job.

If they hire Moyes. I will officially believe in the football gods again. They may smite Tottenham from time to time. But fuck me they must HATE West Ham.

'The greatest night of my life came under Bilic, and was during a game I never even got to watch.

During our win vs Man U in the final game at the Boleyn, my girlfriend gave birth to a lovely baby girl right around the moment Winston scored.

I remember phoning my dad to tell him all had gone well, and sneakily asked him what the game had ended. It must have been all of the emotions coming together at once, but when I heard that we won I burst out crying. The emotion of that evening will stay with me forever.

Thanks Slav'

I'd love for him to come in, and in his first interview...

"We know we're going to be in a relegation battle..."

Bilic has surprised me. Before seeing him managing in PL, I thought he was a flake & and oddball. All talk and no trousers. Kind of immature too.

But I think he actually has been pretty impressive at West Ham. That move to the OS was hugely disruptive - logistically and emotionally - and I think he handled that really well. I think he speaks honestly and with a lot of self awareness - you can see that in his remarks when leaving the training ground this morning - he called the decision understandable, that he'd expected it, and there were no hard feelings. Even-tempered and clear-eyed.

I guess the criticism is that his teams are a bit chaotic. This season, maybe, but they did pretty well last season. I dunno, kind of sad to see him booted and think he's been undone by circumstances as much as anything.
