I mean, he has changed plenty of games for us during his time here.
He came on and set up our last away win against a top 6 rival at city in 15/16.

He's a decent finisher imo, much better than the likes of Sissoko. What he is good at:
Pressing / work rate
Tactical fouls
Belief
Finding space between the lines
Taking a vertical space and turning
Weighted passes
What he is not good at (frustratingly);
Decisive play
Surging / direct running with the ball
Finishing
If he could have added a 'killer instinct' in the last third, when he's received the ball in between their lines, he's turned, we're 3 vs 3 ... and he .... well, just dillie-dathers ... throws three or four dummies with his eyes / shoulders and is tackled from behind. I just wish he'd shift it one way and surge past the first defender. Decisive. And then we're in.

NextIs his contract up at the end of this season?
Next
Really? He signed in 2013, so you're saying he signed a 6 year deal?
Five year deal and we have a two year extension option.
One of the few players we have that will look to pass it first time at pace whether in to feet or round the corner, and then go on a burst for the return.I think if there's one criticism of Lamela it's that sometimes he's a bit too panicky and frantic on the ball and that can lead to some carelessness. But you can't deny he produces goalscoring chances and pops up with the odd goal too.
I can't see him being anything approaching his best until next season though.
Have you met Daniel Levy?Have we exercised that officially? Because without it he'd run out at the end of this season, right? (unless I'm really thick which is possible)
Have you met Daniel Levy?
No way he wouldn't exercise it, even if it just means getting a bigger fee. (in no way am I endorsing the sale of Erik)
