Eamon Dunphy said Wes Hoolahan was the man to change the game when he came on.

He did.

I guess at 2-1 it was shit or bust for Ireland and they just got picked off, shame, they don't deserve a hiding.
Strange night for a Spurs supporting Irishman, can only hope Christian carries that on at the weekend.

So much difference in quality.
when you give the one world class player in either team that much space you're asking for trouble. He was brilliant.

Aside from him, Denmark aren't all that great either, but congratulations to them on going through.

That was unexpected, really. After 1-0, I thought Ireland would reverse to out-muscling us. That own goal really changed the match.

congrats to all the Danes here, absolutely gutted to not be going to the world cup next year, but im sure my great grannies uncles dog was 1/14th Belgian so il follow the Spurs lads with great pride.

On a side note bit strange that penalty at the end, was a clear cut pen but once hes played on and allowed the player his chance on goal surely after hes missed you cannot call it back for a pen.

Crazy to think that Clark and Duffy are Premier League defenders when they are scared shitless with the ball.

I hope none of the Spurs recruitment folk get any ideas about Sisto. He ain't Bisto - he's gruel.
