Christian Eriksen is the best midfielder I've seen at the club since the Hoddle - Waddle days .

As an aside , against Brazil I thought England were missing a midfielder who combined playmaking skills and physicality like Anders Iniesta and Marc Van Bommell .

Harry Winks could be the answer for England - but he will need to muscle up first .

Now that's a blast from the past

Holland had a convey-belt of talent for decades, which seems to have dried up recently!!

Better than Modric?
This is a stretch.
Modric has played at the elite level for several years
and is one of the best midfielders in the world.
With several more years experience for Spurs and England
I fully expect Winks to approach this level
but he ain't there yet Shirley

I assumed he was talking about Eriksen.

Quite a few folks are no fans of Levy on here, but the man has got a such a reputation in the transfer market, and that rep puts of several teams for coming in for our players.

If you are brave enough to bid, you need to come correct.

When he values a player, he very rarely backs away from his price, as the player is usually on a long term contract

“If PSG paid 222 million euros for Neymar , Christian Eriksen costs 225 million euros.” :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
In light of that let's renew the topic about the price tag on Kane.

Gazza and Modric were the best we have had since Ardiles, who made Hoddle look much better than he ever did for England. Gazza was, bar Best, the most talented British player I have seen. Modric just controls games and has been the heart of the Madrid side over these last few years. Winks plays more in his position than Eriksen but of course he is just at the start of a journey ... let's hope he can reach these heights as a player.

However Eriksen, a different type of player, does have the ability allied to the athleticism to become the best attacking midfielder in the World. Vastly experienced already he seems now to be very consistent and is still improving as a player. Another couple fo years with Poch and he will be the player he has always threatened to be. Let's hope that is with Spurs along with Kane, Dele and the rest as we dominate Europe.

Eriksen is still 25, loads more time to develop and get better, he's still not even in his prime yet. Right now, I wouldnt swap him for miss world.

Well yeah, unless it was a sex thing.... then I'd have to think about it.

But given that its football I think I can say without fear of exaggeration that he is worth about a billion squidgeillion euro's right now.
