Let’s face it in modern football all players leave if offered the right money. Neymar was already playing at probably the best club in the world and left, for the money. Kane loves Spurs but if next year PSV target him for 300 mil and 500k a week, he will be gone!
I’m not putting Erickson in that league but you know what I mean. Also didn’t he already play for Barcelona
Can you at least try to spell his name right? Especially when it's in the title of the thread?

I think he is massively underrated by a lot of people and the 'stars' of our team are perceived to be Dele or Kane. He has been quietly brilliant for us but last night launched him onto a lot of peoples radars - unfortunately because he will be the next one to be linked away!

Definitely true... a colleague at work came in today saying about how Erkisen 'Does nothing at spurs ever' then smashes in a hat trick for Denmark.

Something about unlocking teams parking the bus come to mind.

Oh, and internationals are not the bread and butter, the Lord scored I seem to recall.

the link is just advert pop up hell so the basic gist of it is that if Liverpool want too much for Coutinho then Barcelona will sign Eriksen instead.

I especially enjoyed this part - Barca will refuse to pay over the odds for Coutinho, with his Premier League rival a much more affordable signing. It is said Spurs would allow the 25-year-old to join Barca for only around £54m.

He must have walked back into training this week feeling like a king, on top of the world. This only gives more to our excellent spirit we have. No-one rocking the boat, each with each others back, no-one coming out and moaning. Sets us up nicely for Saturday.

Lol. Every time one of our players has a good game, they’re going to leave it’s like the media have just discovered a great talent that we’ve know about for years.

Where do they get these numbers from? £54m? Someone has literally just made that up.

54m? Did Adrian Durham write that? They're obviously trying to get some hooks

Where does he play for Denmark? His scoring record for them in qualifying is fantastic. Should we be looking to try him in the same role for us?

He made it perfectly clear where he got those numbers from, "it is said" and there you have it, proof positive, how can we argue with a source like that?

Hareide (Danish coach) spent some time with Poch on how to get the best out of him on the national team also..

That's interesting as Eriksen wasn't quite so effective for Denmark as he had been for us and now he's stepping up a level internationally as well.

You can really see he's developing as a player having shown glimpses of talent when he first signed for us but being very hot and cold (which was understandable given he was adapting to a tough new league at a young age).
