>Makes whole post about how much they dislike the way people speak
>Says at the end they have no problem with people speaking like that

>"whole post" is three sentences
>only two of those sentences criticise their manner of speaking
>can think they sound like idiots and still have no problem with them speaking how they want

But you obviously do have a problem with it, hence why you insulted them and made a post about it

I just can't see why so many in here have so got worked up about the way two mates talk to each other. Language changes and older generations always moan about it but I'm glad it does otherwise we'd all be walking around grunting to each other.

I haven't though. Bit weird that you seem to think you know how I feel about something when I explicitly stated otherwise, twice.

I think blokes with topknots look like total twats. I haven't got a problem with someone having one though.

Not sure what you're not getting about having an opinion on something and being ok with other people (other being the word of importance) doing that something.

It's amazing how all the Arsenal fans are talking about street talk and shagging 14 year old girls.

Oh wait that's just our derailing squad.

It’s too much. I don’t think anyone would have a problem with the odd fam & ting etc but the amount of times they use them is ridiculous.

Also, it probably doesn’t help that 95% of the time, they’re in a bad mood because Arsenal are shit so it makes it sound even worse, like they’re saying it in frustration. It would sound better if they were saying ‘it’s a lovely day fam’ and ‘love you blud’ instead of ‘Blud, blud, listen fam, Wenger’s a fucking ****, you hear me fam, he can fuck off blud’.

People would be ok with a cockney saying ‘geezer’ if he said it every so often, but if he said it at the beginning, middle and end of every sentence then they would probably want to punch him in the cock. The hatred behind the bludfamtinginnit is probably more to do with these fans’ personalities than it is to do with the language itself.

I'm not originally from Northampton so am happy to highlight the local inbreds...

That's just street talk taken from the Jamacain Patois and Urban American vocab but it's nothing new though, vocabulary has always changed and new words have been bought up since the beginning of time, we're just seeing more of it now because it's all over social media which we subscribe into.
I dont think people say 'wicked' enough these days

Yeah that seemed pretty dumb to me but okay each to their own I guess.

People like to get worked up over some nonsense, it's the thing to do these days especially now everyone has a VOICE on a social media platform, it's just another way of attention seeking and use it as an over-exaggeration of their thoughts :D

Yeah. It's exactly the same as when I point out that someone's "opinion" is demonstrable nonsense based on false facts and the reply comes immediately: "I have a right to my opinion". Indeed, and no one said you didn't.

Saying someone's opinion is incorrect (or that their topknot looks ridiculous, or that their argot is incomprehensible) is not the same as denying them the right to express themselves.

"You're entitled to your opinion...but you're wrong."

I said this to my wife once. :cautious:

I think bobbins just has a different definition of 'problem' to me. I hate topknots and therefore have a problem with them (my problem being that they look stupid). Now my problem isn't such that they can't have them, but I still have a problem with it?

Anyway it's pretty pointless arguing about the definition of a word so I'll leave it there. I quite enjoyed the video tbh so maybe I'm just more down with the kids then you lot:whistle:
