It’s too much. I don’t think anyone would have a problem with the odd fam & ting etc but the amount of times they use them is ridiculous.

Also, it probably doesn’t help that 95% of the time, they’re in a bad mood because Arsenal are shit so it makes it sound even worse, like they’re saying it in frustration. It would sound better if they were saying ‘it’s a lovely day fam’ and ‘love you blud’ instead of ‘Blud, blud, listen fam, Wenger’s a fucking ****, you hear me fam, he can fuck off blud’.

People would be ok with a cockney saying ‘geezer’ if he said it every so often, but if he said it at the beginning, middle and end of every sentence then they would probably want to punch him in the cock. The hatred behind the bludfamtinginnit is probably more to do with these fans’ personalities than it is to do with the language itself.

THIS. There's using a sprinkle of local dialect when you talk in normal English and then there's what we have here when every three words are demarcated by a fam/blud. Totally absurd.

I took the unorthodox step of looking up what our opponents' fans are saying about us.

There is a poll on https://arsenal-mania.com/forum/thr...rday-nov-18-12-30-gmt-sky-sports.30568/page-4 predicting the result for tomorrow:

More from Arse Mania:

Anything can happen in one game but the sad thing is that even most of our fans consider us to be underdogs in this fixture now, something which hadn't happened for more than thirty years.

We were streets ahead of them and the new stadium was supposed to cement that superiority for all time. Instead now they have a better team than us and are building a bigger stadium!

When you add to that a board who care about football and are prepared to invest funds, whilst we have an owner who hasn't been to a home game for well over a year and is happy for us to make profits at the expense of league positions.... the future looks very grim indeed.

Been looking through the media. Most say that only two of our squad would get in the Spurs team. But Sky says three, Kos, Sanchez and Özil. Wow!

Bet @@STATS is fuming at that, with the quality we've got

If you actually go through my analysis of spurs' squad, I bring the squad DEPTH issue. After wanyama and Dembele (easily better than our midfielders), who do they have? Dier, winks and Sissoko. I would rather play COQ before them. Alderwireld, vertonghen are decent CBs but not even in the same league as Kos. Alli, Eriksen are good players, but compare them to pre-wenger Özil and sanchez, no where near. After that who do they have for forwards? Llorente? Son? We have better Depth there too. Except for the wingback/fullback position we have better depth in every area of the pitch.

As for the 1st team, were not we linked with Wanyama? I thought he was an average player not good enough to lace the boots of arsenal's players. The issue why did not we buy him? Why did your wenger buy him?

They're fairly downbeat but not so much about the game as about the current plight of both clubs and how they've fallen so far that their seen as underdogs by some going into an NLD on their own patch. And they're still arguing with each other about anything and everything (but not the way people talk - that's reserved for this place).

If they win tomorrow and thats a big if, you know they will celebrate it like they have just won the world cup. I think that will say more as to where the two teams are at the moment.

There really isn't a massive gulf between us and them, if they win tomorrow they will be only one point behind us.

Toby & Jan not in the same league as Kos, someone order me up some of what that chap was smoking.

The delusion is amazing. Koscielny is nowhere near our CBs. I would say we are superior all over the pitch but that still doesn't mean we will win tomorrow, I think we are better than Utd in every position too and they still beat us.

I also like the statement that our players aren't as good as theirs "pre wenger" so apparently now assessing players in comparison means you can also assess from differing time periods.

I'd still have Sanchez in the side instead of Son or Alli tbf.

They'll beat us tomorrow. Awful feeling in my bones :(
