Gets a rough ride Imo.Mock The % all you like But can’t dispute it. People moan about dull managers like Puel at least he was entertaining.None of us know his exact input into the likes of Kane and winks, but hard to say he didn’t do a good job on the youth.Really hope he gets a decent job and shuts everyone up. Would love him to manage a top 6 club one day imagine the verbals with say a pep or mourinho be hysterical.

He did manage a top six side.

He didn't have any verbals with Rodgers because he was sat in the stands as we got humiliated 4-0.

He didn't have any verbals with Mourinho because he was too intent on slagging off the team for their lack of 'guts and character' as we got beat 4-0

He didn't have any verbals with Wenger because he was too busy showing his 'commitment' by throwing his gilet on the floor as we lost 1-0.

He didn't have any verbals with Pellegrini because he spent the post-match interview praising the Man City team who thrashed us 5-1 as the 'best team on the planet'.

To be fair, he did beat David Moyes' Manchester United, giving him a loss percentage of only 80% against the rest of the top six.

Mock that 80% all you like. You can't dispute it. He did manage a top six side and it was not hysterical. Not for us, anyway. (n)

Embarrassing is entertaining. Just don't want it at my club.

He spent a lot of money at Villa then they had an awful start and he got fired.

He got the DOF job at Swindon then when they did terribly he claimed he didn't have a job, he was just doing a favour for a mate.

I've read numerousinterviews with players praising Redknapp, Poch and various coaching staff for their development. Haven't heard one give Sherwood ayn credit for their success.

He won't get a decent job as a manager as he doesn't have the qualities required for a manager.

He will get a good job as a pundit as he has a big mouth and talks in a way where he actually believes his own shit.

Confidence over substance I'm afraid.

If you stuck me in charge of that Spurs team for 4/5 months my win percentage wouldn’t be much different, and neither would yours.

Anyone who’d rather have Sherwood over someone like Puel is an idiot. They are polar opposites. One is a fucking bantersaurus who can’t coach to save his life the other got sacked despite doing a good job because he didn’t entertain the media post match.

His input into our youth teams largely consisted of scmoozing the parents and putting his name on the next gen programs to teams that others, like Alex Inglethorpe had coached superbly.

He deserves credit for introducing Bentaleb, but then dropped him for no reason when the fans moaned about his selection, fearing his (Sherwood) popularity would suffer (“we have to protect the boy”).

It was also strange to watch someone who spent his whole time criticising AVB for not playing academy kids go out and buy 27 players from the French league instead of playing some of Villa’s excellent (next gen winning) academy in his first real job and chance to walk his talk.

Personally I am glad that people like Sherwood and his mentor Redknapp are being found out and fucked off. The game in England is finally moving on from the “proper football men” bullshit peddlers, and toward people who prefer coaching to talking.

I was in agreement up until that point, Redknapp did very well with us.
