They have been much, much better than us today. In a nutshell, this game sums up why we are a team that is unlikely to win trophies.
It annoys me when the players say we need to win trophies (or they'll be off) then they turn in utter shit performances like this and West Ham

I wonder if the white sleeves on their shirts confused our players a couple of times. Like Sanchez there inexplicably left the ball.

Need to add I'm not saying this is why we lost in case anyone jumps on that band wagon

I would kill for a player like Alexis Sanchez. He's the only one I'd love at Spurs, regardless of their other performances today.

Sanchez and Sissoko our best players. Eriksen mia again.
I can't agree about Sissoko - he's so one dimensional and clumsy - I think he is an awkward fit and I'm worried that MoPo seems to see so much in him. We're not a better team with him in it. Full stop.
MoPo's set up was all wrong - it's not that Eriksen was bad - he needs to be fed the ball and in his favoured position from the start - it's the job of players like Sissoko, Kane & Dele (who is awful week in week out) to feed him and create space for him - Sissoko - doesn't have that kind of footballing brain and Dele's seems to have had a lobotomy over the summer.
We're not in good shape at the moment - too many injuries - too many players not at 100%.
At this level of football - you need to be firing on all cylinders - we're firing on a half fit Kane, an underperforming Dele, a one dimensional Sissoko, a returning Dembele and we're missing a Toby and really missing a Wanyama.
We'll have better days- but we also need better solutions than an ageing Llorente and no pace on our subs bench (Son aside - who should be ahead of Dele in the pecking order). Oh for a fully fit squad that includes a fully fit Lamela.
We can't perform a 10/10 in our current state - a maximum of 8 and today a 5.
Much wok to do MoPo.

Credit where credit is due.

Arsenal deserved the win today.

Their players were more determined to win the ball.

Plenty of season to prove me wrong but Fernando doesn’t strike me as an impact sub. Need to address our backup striker role.
