Fucking hell. This is a hideously messy yet strangely entertaining game. Both teams flying up and out of defence, and trying to play a game massively against the odds of the conditions.

Chaotic

Fair that Itoje gets penalised for that (not a knock on, though) but both Hooper and Kuradrani did the same in the first half without being penalised.

England have been incredibly lucky here. Not saying the decisions have been wrong, but with 5 minutes left they're not 14 points better than Oz!

Interesting how many high kicks are not being contested by the chasers today. They're waiting and tackling. Can't risk it with the tighter rules I guess.

Why have we been lucky? Most if not all of the calls have been correctly.

I suppose another TMO could have ignored Moore's obstruction and given Koroibete the benefit of the doubt on the grounding. Other referees may not have thought to check for Hooper's offside. But all the major decisions (two sin bins, two disallowed tries, one try given) were correct. Yet more embarrassment for football after the shambles earlier on.

Just seemed to me that the majority of the small margin situations went our way. And the ball bouncing 0.0003 of an inch inside the line struck me as good luck.
