I'd still swap a fully fit and flying Walker and Rose for Trippier and Davies as great as the latter two have been. I still think without those two we are a less threatening side and I still miss them charging down the wings pushing us forward.

They're both dickheads and most likely Rose will follow Walker in leaving but I still think we're worse off without them and not as threatening in attack. They're elite level full backs, and as good and as reliable what we have is I can't ever see either Davies or Trippier attracting £50m bids and that says a lot. We've weakened by selling Walker and will weaken by selling Rose. We'll be more than ok, it's just a shame we couldn't have added Sanchez to what we had.

Trippier is probably better than Walker at most things on the football pitch but the one thing that let's him down is that lack of pace. As average as Walker is his electric pace makes him an unbelievable asset as a wingback as he's not afraid to just run up and down the line and get in behind.

Chill guys! Pochettino says there is no issues...

The same guy who said it was a massive performance against Arsenal.

Walker was also more powerful and better in the air. All round a superior player.

Yeah but probably found out on Friday the team news though. As for being eased back he’s been in every squad since Madrid Away I believe so would be random to drop him now for fitness reasons

He obviously isn't all round a superior player. Do you honestly think Walker has a better cross and eye for a pass than Tripps?

No, but the difference is exaggerated, Walker also got plenty of assists for us if you recall. Walker is much faster, much stronger, much better in the air, is physically a far superior athlete and scored goals for us.

All aspects considered I would say he is far superior, which probably explains why City, along with Chelsea wanted to pay us a lot of money for Walker and not Trippier, whilst before he was tapped up by City, Walker consistently started ahead of Trippier.

Not denying Walker shades the defensive aspect, and is the far superior athlete, but is not better in every department as you implied.

Just seen poch after match presser.Unless He’s been taking acting lessons. His reaction to Rose on a training regime seemed pretty genuine.

The only way he'll be allowed to leave in Jan is if we can get in genuine first team competition for Davies.
Luke Shaw back with Poch anyone?
