At 80 mins I decided that enough was enough and went upstairs to try and plough one into the mrs. Unfortunately she was having none of it as “her film” had just started. It’s times like this that I ask myself why I bother having a girlfriend if she’s gonna that selfish. Decided that I wasn’t gonna hang around so made my way home only to find that there was a replacement bus service in operation and hence I’m now 3 hours into a journey that should have taken an hour and half. Today has been utterly shit.

Unfortunately Poch blamed the decisions on the final result while Wenger said it was a free kick and the players were inside.
I've been saying it for ages. As far as is Wenger concerned it is exactly why they need TV screens in post match interviews,to play back controversial decisions and to get managers to qualify the bullshit they constantly come out with. It might once and for all reduce the regularity with which Wenger and Mourinho always complain and come out with utter horseshit when debatable decisions are discussed.

For example, when Wenger has said this kind of shit, they should play back the decision in front of the cameras and then pose the following questions - "So Arsene, you have had a chance to see it again, now can you please explain to us all why that was a free kick, what part of your players shirt did Davison Sanchez pull, and can you clearly see the Spurs player fail to connect with the ball to clear it in that tackle and can you also see Davison Sanchez trip your player in that challenge ? " He should also be asked to explain why his players were both onside after being given the chance to explain that this was the case when the tv playback clearly shows exactly the opposite.

Poch was clearly wrong to say that was a fine performance if that quote was uttered in the post match interview, but the reason why I have no respect for mangers like Mourinho and Wenger is because constantly come out with shit like this. Why couldn't he just come out and say "on this occasion maybe we were fortunate to get away with some decisions that may have been wrong but, overall on the balance of play we were the better side and worthy of the win" if he'd said that we could have had few complaints, but he can't say that can he because he is Arsene F*cking Wenger and he is a complete dickhead like Mourinho, whinging and finger pointing in defeat and ungracious and full of horse shit in victory.

The one thing I never thought I'd see from a poch spurs team was a lack of fight and effort. Second to every second ball today. No aggression or any real sign of overly caring.

It's hard to lose the derby, but harder when it was largely due to a lack of willing. Mike C*** didn't help either and it's clear the media attention has got to him. Hence the Swansea decisions and now today.

I know he's just a shit ref anyway but he brings it on himself. Offsides were negligible so can't blame them. The free kick on the other hand...

That said, beaten by the better team on the day. I hope Poch gets into them and we see a response next week. Tuesday I'm not overly fussed about

Ffs. I'm doing everything to distract my mind from that shite today but I can't. I believe in this team, manager and club but its royally hurting right now.

Dammit boys, another big moment blown.

We've beaten all the top sides over the last two seasons, although mainly at home. We don't often get beaten these days compared to the past, even if we don't win.
We've lost in the league three times this season, and we only lost four times in the whole season last year. Not good.

Well said. Wish the interviewer had the balls to say to his face that in their last game Wenger had a go at the officials. Make the hypocrite squirm.

It was a poor performance but not unexpected this type of thing occurs with us all too often in these type of game's.
The free kick was a joke but so was the defending for both goals rendering the game over after 45 mins, the pundits will clearly enjoy it as they will comfort themselves with the old saying "spurs they will always let you down".
Not only was the team a let down today but so was poch someone should have been wired into them all today clearly no one had done it.

We can say "we've only been beaten by the big sides" and use that as some kind of excuse. But that's the exact reason we won't be anywhere near the top spot come may. Saw a tweet from Lineker that said we'd won 4 in 86 away games against the other top 6 clubs. That's unacceptable. We've looked toothless in too many games against the other big sides too often

We don't have the belief nor the depth in quality to do this Gary Neville mentioned it in commentary today and against Utd, we don't believe enough which is why in the main we always lose sad but very true.

Those quotes worry me from Poch to be honest. Hopefully it was lies to media cos how he's sees that as an even game is beyond me. Proud of effort too, nothing to be proud of today we were woeful and he needs to see that so he adjusts things for next huge away game.

Have to agree, people often scoff at Wenger and Jose post match but Poch sounded like a man in self denial. Our lack of wins away from home against the best in the PL is there for everyone to see. We are unfortunately what we are a very good side that flatters to deceive. Oh and before anyone mentions the Madrid result, they have been having a poor season before they ran into us.

The Goons are turning into West Ham: crap most of the time and can only be bothered to raise their game when they play us.

I think (hope) Poch was just deflecting. Ben Davies gave a different account in his interview. We will always flatter to deceive until we win a major trophy and I strongly suspect that as always this side will be broken up before we achieve that.

Being candid I am very concerned by Alli, he seems to have become more billboard than footballer this year and his performances are really suffering.

Hopefully I am just knee jerking after a poor performance, but what concerned me more than anything was the performance of Alli, his head clearly wasn't in the game.

We continue to be what we have struggled to shed for years and that is we are the nearly men good but not good enough and that serves to be our motto.

If you read Pochettino's book it is very clear what he says to the media and what he says to the team are very different things.

The big games are won in midfield and at the moment midfield is by far our weakest area. Without Winks we are even more exposed. They need to battle out there but what's even more important is that they are calm and fast under pressure. Far too many times when we are pressed we panic and time and time again there is a lack of cohesion we and we give the ball away. Too many touches, too much dilly dallying around and a general lack of awareness.

We are badly missing Wanyama. In midfield Dier is simply not at his level and is needed at CB now anyway. Dembele is looking very rusty and you could say finished these days and Sissoko is quite simply not a long term solution. We're only left with Winks who is good enough currently.

We should go with the midfield and forwards that beat Liverpool until January then bring in another midfielder or recall Onomah at least.

If we play like we did against Utd and Arsenal against City we will be in for a slaughtering because they are a far superior pressing team.
