Can't you wallow somewhere else?

He did affect the result, game altering decision. It's not hard to admit.

He didn't affect the result, on the respective performance levels Arsenal would have scored eventually an run out worthy winners.

Shifting the blame to the ref when it should sit squarely with our players and manager.

Rubbish. It was 0-0 when he made a decision that affected the scoreline, ergo it affected the result.

We have just lost the NLD. This dickhead doesn't look upset...he clearly does not care about losing, although his job is to win football matches. We need to get wasters like this out of the club.
He's won 3 League titles, the Europa League, the Euros and the World Cup...'wasters' like him are exactly the sort of player posters like you were screaming out for in the summer.
Ok, it wasn't wise to be be laughing after the final whistle, but keep your pants on and stop lashing out, its just childish.

It shows a lack of care for results at his current club. Does that not bother you? Would a United player under fergie be laughing after losing to Liverpool?

Yeah I was pretty good at maths! But my point I was asking was that just 2 matches were highlighted, the other 80 would have been another load of hotchpotch of excuses by various other people over the years. The thing is we just don't perform away against these teams. The figures can't be disputed whatever the excuses. I along with everyone else are fed up with excuses, it's going to take the rest of my life to see these figures even out.

You’re going to live till 140?

It's the sort of pointless stat that will and probably has gotten into the players heads (and club). They just need to do it. Since 2011 we have been more than capable of getting or nicking a result at Stamford bridge for example. I still get pissed of with the " battle of the bridge " shite. We could of won that game and phycologically it would of done wonders for the club.

I'm not losing my shit over the result yesterday. I always thought they would beat us and that we would beat them at Wembley. Stamford bridge, like I said before, is the biggest test this season unless we get into a final.
Trouble is next season and seasons after we still be on here having the same conversation when we fail to win at the bridge, emirates and any of the others it's a cycle of losing that is the mindset.
I agree with you that we have had a few opportunities opened up to us in recent times and use contentious decisions and hard luck stories like yesterday to change this gloomy stat.
We are stuck with that tag of nearly men with players, fans and media all smiling to themselves that they can be comfortable with the knowledge that occasionally spurs will give you a game, but ultimately they will always falter on the big stage and prizes however we continue to support the club through good and bad TTID.

Failing to defend the free kick was what affected the game the second was us just caving in again, bad decisions will happen to anyone it's how you deal with those situations that is the acid test.......and we didn't.

Hopefully you're wrong!

"Any player coming to Spurs whether he's a big signing or just a ground staff boy must be dedicated to the game and to the club. He must be prepared to work at his game. He must never be satisfied with his last performance, and he must hate losing."

We need wasters like you off the fan base, more like. Trot on!

When Mourinho goes away to the big clubs, he doesn't set up to win. He's not thick like the English tabloid press.

Winning against the big sides away isn't vital, amazing what a red herring this has turned into.

Overall, home and away, our record against the top 6 is decent, that's all that matters. Everyone has just focused in on one aspect that we need to improve on and blown it out of proportion. Next it will be that our away record on saturday lunchtimes when the weather isn't good is the problem

Also other top 6 sides, united and arsenal, have bad away records against the top 6, top 6 teams should win at home. I expect other fans and journos to go on about it but our fans buying into this red herring is frustrating

Technically we didn't defend it badly we defended it right by playing their player offside but the linesman wasn't up to it and didn't give it.
I take your point but you can't say it was down to one thing if that thing isn't right, had the linesman done his job we wouldn't have had a situation to deal with.
I accept that we weren't on our game and Arsenal were up for it but that doesn't mean they deserved to win or would have won, it's games like that when a refereeing decision can tip the balance and I honestly believe that happened yesterday, he didn't miss something he saw something that wasn't there.
Having said that I had been worried all week about this game, just couldn't feel confident.

Spurs fans really need to stop this. It's not Dean's fault we were crap. It's not his fault we couldnt hold on to the ball, attack, or play defense. It's not his fault we were getting skinned alive all game. We lost fair and square. Arsenal came to play and they showed heart. They wanted it. Spurs did not show up, did not want it and showed a disturbing lack of heart.

Disagree. Felt we had a good few chances that were blocked or missed. Arsenal were well up for it but at 0-0 what's to say we wouldn't have got the first goal? Then it's a totally different game. That decision at 0-0 was a game changer.
