"My goal is to play my entire career only for Tottenham," he told Bild am Sonntag.

"We have a fantastic team, a great coach, a professional training centre and we're getting a new stadium. At the moment, everything suits me here and I'm happy."

Lovely quotes. Confirms to me that money doesn't matter to him and that as long as we are in a position to challenge for big trophies he'll stay, even if Madrid come calling.

If we start going backwards though I don't think we should be naïve enough to think he'll hang around.

He looked possessed the way he was playing in particular the Liverpool game , hopefully he can get back to that , the injuries have killed him the last two

Even if he's adamant in his own head that he wants to spend his entire career here, it's still wise for him to say that to cover himself.

Yup cause fans never forget and are quick to bring up comments that was said in the past, should he leave at least he can fall back on that which makes sense.

Our Talisman got the vital goal last night to get us back on track. He’s now scored 113 goals in 181 games for us now

Didn’t look like he had strapping on last night and seemed a little sharper again than v the scum

Hopefully he’s building up again to full fitness, which means a shed load more goals for himself and Tottenham

It’s simple Kane is top quality and himself preference would be to stay here and achieve everything he wants to achieve.

But if we go back to being shit then he ain’t gonna stay as too good for that.

We need to keep building and make sure we have as good players around him as possible, which with our new stadium hopefully we can achieve this.

Only at 65-70% Hasn't looked at all right since the injury.

I think he's still feeling something but is keeping it quiet.

Been involved in 100 goals (scored 87 and assisted 13), in 128 Premier League appearances. Not bad.

There were occasions last season where we were concerned about his condition, only for his form to change again. I think he's actually doing better than last season. Need him to hit that real streak in december-January though

He is clearly carrying an injury. We should be looking for a Kane understudy not aging front men to fill the gaps. Janssen well lets not go there. Not having a decent young gun with pace to step in has hurt us over the last few campaigns. When will we learn?

Can't help thinking that Kane's 'shoot on sight' policy is sometimes detrimental. If you watch City, they have some fantastically gifted finishers, but they make good decisions in front of goal. They will look for a player in a better position and work situations into tap ins. Harry bears a huge goal scoring burden for us, but we do have players around him capable of finishing chances. Son, Dele and Eriksen can all hit the target and I wish we could mix it up a bit more. As soon as Harry gets a glimpse of goal he takes it on himself, and it's a bit too predictable for me, and one of the reasons we can't break down teams like WBA yesterday.

His shoot on sight mentality is usually what gets him into the game IMO. Most games where he doesn't get up to much are the ones where you sit back at 65 mins or so and think, "Kane hasn't even had a pop shot yet"
