yeah, that game didn't do much for the sancho's on another planet to edwards narrative. didn't get why he was taken off, he actually started the 2nd half pretty poorly pissing the ball away a few times but then suddenly he just clicked and absolutely took over the game for about 15 mins ... then he got subbed.
anyway, excellent performance all round.

A guy on Twitter said that Sancho was his MOTM, that he was playing deeper than usual and everything good they did came from him, I disagree

Depends if he’s talking about Dortmund MoM as if he is I’d agree. Anything good for them came from him. Although the rest look really ordinary.
In actual game terms he would be in top 6 or 7 in terms of MoM

Brandon Austin
An absolute howler to gift Dortmund a goal with their first shot on target in the first half. Tough to give him a low mark based on just that, but he didn't have too much else to do other than deal with the odd cross. 5
Timothy Eyoma
Good link-up play with Edwards in the build-up to Shashoua's opening goal. Motored up and down the right and made one great last-gasp challenge in the Spurs box in the second half. Always available for the pass. 7
Jaden Brown
Lovely bit of skill to take Shashoua's pass in the box and skip past a challenge before smashing the ball into the net. The left-back showed a striker's instinct. He also defended well and got stuck in. Was full of confidence after the goal. 8
Japhet Tanganga
Plenty of big clearances as he dominated the back line for Tottenham and made one superb flying block to deny Kampetsis in the second half. 8
Brooklyn Lyons-Foster
The 16-year-old again showed a calm head in a big game. Another convincing performance from the young defender. 7
George Marsh
The midfielder general in front of the back line. Mopped up plenty and frustrated Dortmund. 7
Oliver Skipp
Struck the crossbar with a great shot from distance in the first half. Another impressive performance in the middle for the 17-year-old. His stock is steadily growing. 7
Paris Maghoma
He only turned 16 in May and this was a superb performance in the middle. Played plenty of clever balls into the attacking trio ahead of him and deserved to score with a brilliant chip from 35 yards which the keeper tipped over at the last moment. 9
Samuel Shashoua
Tormented the Dortmund defence in the first half with his raids down the left. Tucked away the opening goal clinically and and set up Brown's goal excellently following a bit of skill. Continued to cause the German side problems in the second half. Always looking to bring others into play as well as taking on opponents. 9
Marcus Edwards
Set up Shashoua's goal after a one-two with Eyoma and should have scored himself soon after from Maghoma's through ball. Saw his penalty saved in the first half. His technique is superb and he can beat players on the dribble, but if he looked up for others sometimes in better positions rather than running into groups of defenders he could be fantastic. 7
Kazaiah Sterling
After a quiet start, he burst to life with a brilliant curling shot that nestled in the right-hand corner of the net. Never stopped running and hassling the Dortmund defenders and almost scored with another curling effort in the second half. 8

a few strange ratings there imo. maghoma and sterling better than skipp and edwards ... i don't think so.

Questions for you youth lords:
- Maghoma - He looks a really developed for 16. Looks to have some great technique. What's the outlook there?
- Sterling - Any chance he gets a call up? I for one think we need a runner behind Kane, not a target man. Would an odd chance here and there be out of the question? Seems to be a cool finisher and maybe a late bloomer like Kane?

Part of me hopes so but I'd also think AG and GKN (god only knows why) are ahead of him for wing spots and Rose (*mumble mumble*) and KWP are ahead of him for LWB spots so not sure what he would be up for unless a bench or just filler first XI integration/reward. Figured someone would call out if he was injured.

Alasdair Gold from Football.London said unless it's a late call up he hasn't been with the first team squad as of yet. More likely he's got an injury.
I really like Maghoma very much a clone of Onomah and TOB. Looks another on the fast track route. Re sterling honestly think we will only know if he gets thrown in. Strikers are really hard to judge at youth level imo. You just can’t tell if they will score or not when the pressure is on.
