The hype around Sanchez is going to go nuclear soon. Would not be surprised if he was the Spurs player Madrid/Barca/Petro clubs go all in for first...

Winks' Modric impersonation is coming along swimmingLy :D

Winks 74 passes at 94%
Sanchez (second) 59 passes at 92%

Ridiculous! What are they both 21?

I didn't see the first half but I thought Aurier and Rose played really well. It does make a difference having wingbacks that don't hesitate to go on the outside to try and stretch the opposition. Even though there is a drop in end product quality.

Really good win no matter what form Dortmund are in still a tough place to go. Thought first 30 minutes or so the performance was like saturdays but the Dortmund goal seemed to kick us into action. Second half was a much better performance. Still not sure how fit Kane is and the same with Dele. One big plus I thought was Danny Rose who got better and better as the game went on. Ecstatic to top that group as well a really good effort from the players and coaches.

Hope this result puts a stop to all the negative reports/talk about the Arsenal game.
It was a bad day at the office for us with niggles and tiredness affecting our team selection and performance, simple as that.

Good thing with us finishing top is that Madrid will hopefully face a team like City and so eliminating another strong competitor.

The way we have played in Europe this year, I don't fear us being drawn against anyone but granted, an easier draw on paper would be nice.

Feel much much better after that second half.

Was worrying we'd lose that and we'd start to lose our way a little. Glad the boys fought back and dug in to show the character.

It was the right team to play tonight - imagine if Dortmund had turned us over because we went with a weakened team?

Now we need to get back on track in the league and rack up some wins. Would be nice to think that next time we play in the CL we are looking good for top 3 spot.
Agree hey how good does 4 pts off R Madrid 6 pts off Dortmund!! Unbeaten in the group and won the group with one game to go. I will tell my gran kids about good the season of 2017/18 was in the champions league!!! Absolutely outstanding effort COYS Wembley Sat cannot wait.

I think Poch has prioritised the CL, Kane looks sharp tonight, he didn't against Arsenal, I think the players and manager know the PL is out of the question now so putting our all into the CL.

The CL we can realistically win imo.
I think it has more to do with players regaining match fitness after being out. Against Arsenal, Winks not ready to go the full match while Kane and Alli had just gotten back to full training a couple of days before the match and Son had traveled half way around the world after playing 2 internationals. We looked sluggish, nothing more, nothing less against Arsenal.

2nd half today players looked like they started to find a rhythm and we were by far the better team.
