Let’s be realistic, we are not going to win the champions league. The best we can hope for is to get lucky in the draws and go as far as we can

Well, with that attitude we most certainly won't

am I correct in presuming that having won the group, we will be at home for the second leg of the round of 16? And that this should have us at Wembley on one of 6, 7, 13, or 14 March?

apologies in advance if this has been addressed elsewhere.

You are correct.

Let's be realistic we've already beaten the holding champions over two legs. No luck about it.

Whilst it's not likely that we'll win the Champions League, we've proved that we can beat the best on our day so why couldn't we go on and win it?

I don't think anyone is expecting us to win it. But I don't think there's a team in the tournament that we couldn't beat if the stars aligned.

So yeah...we're definitely going to win it.

Come on Real Madrid have been well below their usual standards this season as have Dortmund. That’s not taking anything away from us, we still beat them both .
If we get an in form Barca, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern, Man City over 2 legs I wouldn’t fancy our chances to be honest. I’m not sure I fancy our chance over 2 legs against Man U or Chelsea either.
That’s 8 teams so it’s likely we would have to beat a least 3 of these to win it. I would love to be wrong but it’s not happening folks

Never say never. We’ll need a little luck along the way, but if a shitty Chelsea team can luck their way past a top notch Barca and Bayern over 4 games, we can too...

Need to sell our souls to the Devil like them though...

I'm starting to get concerned that we could actually win this thing. Just need someone to knock Man City out for us...

I can't wait until Madrid draw Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea or City in the next round and beat them. All I have heard since we beat them is that they are rubbish now.

An English team will eventually prove to be our Achilles heel I think. I would rather play them in a one off match in the final, on a neutral ground. I wouldn't fancy our chances of getting a point or a win at Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford.

It’s not against the realms of possibility that all 4 semi final teams could be English teams. Wonder what the odds on that are.

Although I’m going to contradict that by saying I think PSG will win it with that attack.

Will be good to sit back and watch a possible team we might play next. I haven’t really watched much of the European league recently, just don’t have the time. What’s happened at Barcelona though, delfelou gets a game, he’s average.

So why do we bother keep trying to qualify for it?

Why care that we’ve won the group?

Why bother going to the games or watching them on TV?

Nobody is saying it’s likely. To say 100% it’s not happening makes me wonder why you bother watching at all? Can’t be fun for you.
