I went to the Emirates for first time last week. Have to say it is a very impressive stadium. The stands felt close to the pitch, especially when compared to Wembley, so I can’t wait to see what ours will be like. This is gonna take us to another level.

Not sure where to post this but on SSC they have worked out the large fire that be seen on one of the cams is the Spurs shop warehouse...so if you’ve ordered a Spurs Christmas jumper.....

Someone was spotted escaping in a red and white shirt! Pulled by a load of reindeer on a sleigh.

The club say it's not the warehouse.

Out of curiosity, are the blocks underneath the south stand "trees" temporary? Can't see them in any of the renders and would be quite a change that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere.

You won't see them in renders because the concourses etc will be on the first floor whereas the ground floor will be a car park which is where you see the blocks of the trees

Edit: see below render. You can't see the base of the trees but you can see the car park below which is where the trees sit

So where does the pitch slide?

So where does the pitch slide?
Under the south stand in 3 sections, one between the two tree bases and one either side. It doesn't make sense if you're just looking at that cross-section because you can't tell where that 'slice' is taken. If you look at the live cams it's quite clear.

I stand to be corrected but I think it goes underneath the floor you can see, i.e. under the car park floor.

EDIT I think I'm wrong. I think that view is from the western edge of the south stand so they will go behind this view, that is to the east of the car park.

It’s not clear. If the pitch slides in three sections, between the trees, but the car park on another aerial image shows the car park under the whole stand, where I would assum the car park can only logically go in the corner of west/east. Otherwise the sliding pitch will fill the car park... unless, the car park is only in use when the pitch is also in use?

I'm not 100% sure but I think that the pitch just sits in the car park area when not in use. It's additional parking for football use but not in use when the NFL/ concerts are in town.

The main car park is underneath the rest of the stadium in the basement

Correct, the pitch slides into the car park.
