First game of the season for me. Block 136. COYS!

Is it too much to hope for Lamela on the bench today, given that Poch was complimentary of him in the presser this week?

Gary Megson.. oh well, after crushing Real Madrid here, and securing first place in the CL group against Dortmund, I'm sure we'll labour to a boretastic 1-0 win.

Would be nice to put one of these "lesser" teams to the sword at home.

Absolute must win - can't fall any further behind United or Chelsea.

New manager jinx?

Actually, I'm hoping for something more akin to a tribute to his Dad's last managerial appearance at White Hart Lane 40 years ago this season - when Don Megson's Bristol Rovers lost to Keith Burkinshaw's Tottenham Hotspur by the mere matter of nine goals to nil.

Happy days.

Always seem to say the same thing these days, but this is a vital match. Can't afford to drop any points to stay with the pack and have to show real intensity and killer instinct after the Emirates turgid display.

We absolutely steam-rollered this lot at the Lane last season so I'm optimistic we can do it again. That said, Dembélé and Wanyama were central to that performance.

Maybe as I think a few minutes at the end of a home game, assuming we win, will give him a great lift as he is sure to get a great ovation from us

On my way to the match taking my boy for his first game. Need a convincing win and plenty of goals to get him hooked

A) Not all games are 'must win'
B) Some are 'musn't lose'
C) Others are in the 'take a draw now' category
D) Some end up in the 'How the fuck did we lose that' archive
and this is one of the E)'How can we possibly lose'
and later filed under D)

After much research Spurs 3-0
