Hook Eriksen at half-time, embarrassingly bad today. Could easily have been Alli who's been just as bad. Dembele on.
I'd even consider taking Dier off and putting Llorente on.
Just seen their goal again...
Fucking hell... Dele, Sanchez and Lloris hold your heads in shame.

Has Dele sorted out his agent thingy?? Get the fuck sorted if it hasn't. I think it has affected him somehow..

He's always had a shit touch and an inability to beat a man (nutmegs aside), it was just negated by his productivity, when the goals and assists dry up he does more harm than good.

Eriksen is really poor. You can read about his passes in yesterdays paper. So predictable.
He's quite obviously not a poor player. He looks tired and out of form but there's no one to replace him in the squad to keep him in peak condition.

Dele has clearly bought into his own hype and believes he's bigger than Spurs. The only game he's given a fraction of a fuck about this season was Madrid.

He's in the worst form of his life and thoroughly deserves to be dropped, but our other options in central and attacking midfield are somehow even worse.

We NEED to bring in someone in January to light a fire under our underperforming players. I'd be perfectly content with a budget option like Barkley or Meyer (who has found his best form in years playing in central midfield) in the last six months of their contract. If we stand still we really risk dropping out of the top four, or league form is absolutely dreadful.

We miss Rose and Walkers pace so much vs teams like this.
They would how gotten behind the defense stretching the opposition, something Davies and Trippier can't do making us so predictable.

No chance he's saving that, it looks like an easy one because of the pace of the ball but that was as bottom corner as it gets.
He just left it to fate too often IMHO.. A stretch may just possibly gotten some finger tips to the ball.. At least a try wouldn't hurt.

Problem is, looking to our anaemic attacking options off the bench isn't the answer here - absolutely everything is on our mentality and approach to matches like this where we face a stubborn opponent with little desire to play any purposeful football which is compounded further by gifting away a fucking atrocious goal.

Big 15minutes after HT coming up...

Dele's starting to become a conundrum can provide moments magic but as they get fewer the other facets of his game are starting to look average bordering on poor.

ATM looking like David Platt with nutmegs...
The crystal palace game 2 seasons ago epitomies Alli. He was by far our worst player of the day, with loose touches, losing the ball so frequently, falling down every time, but suddenly scored that worldie. Everything elae was forgotten and he was raised to world -class stature.

There is really no point playing Eriksen against teams who leave no space between the defence and goalkeeper. He isn't going to create anything.

On his day, Moose cannot be knocked off the ball nor dispossessed. Simple as that.

If he's in the mood, he's unplayable.

Yeah I’d agree, never seen anyone as strong as Dembele apart from maybe that akinfenwa. But I was really surprised to see rondon shrugging off both Sanchez and Dier this game.

I still think we'll come through and win but Hugo is letting in some real soft goals at the moment.

It's games like this were we miss walker and rose on the wings

They'd get in behind with or without the ball and it would create much more space for Dele, erisken and Kane as it breaks the opponent's defensive shape

Poch looked way too relaxed on the bench, like a victory was inevitable.

I don't like the feel of this at all.

And Coco needs to watch this and be like, "good god, I need to get back in and help my teammates".

fucking awful. nothing more to say. unfortunately in the league it's becoming a habit, roll on apoel.
exactly right its the same shit every game... will be glad to see back of Wembley.... groundhog day every league game, different opposition but same shocking spurs performance. if poch is anywhere as good as he is supposed to be surely this would start to be rectified by now... how many times does it need to happen?
