I honestly do not know what to say other than I hope we are not building an 850 million GBP white elephant on Tottenham High Street

The team tricked us into thinking they were a top EPL team. I suspect the last two seasons is going to be as good as it gets

Lamela gets my MOTM because he had a more positive effect on the game in his 15 minutes than Eriksen had for the last two games

So glad Lamela is back, least someone to show some desire, Eriksen has been a disgrace the last 3/4 games

Feel like only two players turned up today, Lamela and Kane. Going to give to Lamela tho for changing the game in an instant. So good to have him back.

I know other players were really poor. But Dier's passing was poor to a unbelievable level. BC was right. Don't try to pretend you are pirlo. Numerous times he dispossessed and passed unbelievable poor balls.

Lamela undebatable MOTM. Kane did ok. Others...

Eriksen, Alli, Dier piss poor.

Aurier provides nothing at all. No pace and crossing worse than Trippier.

Rose, despite those runs has such a poor delivery.

The only good thing to come out of this match is the return of Lamela, with a brilliant awareness to provide that asisst.

Son and Lamela for Alli and Eriksen next match.

Think Aurier has been a massive let down so far. Another terrible game.

As said, Dier's passing was horrendous.

Sissoko...Offers nothing

Kane well off it again. Good goal though

Alli seemed more interested today but my god he looses the ball easily.

Disgusting that we’ve lost this game. Two wonderful goals. We weren’t great, but we were much improved.

Lloris couldn’t stop the goals.

Sanchez Dier Vertonghen fine.

Aurier okay, some decent crosses.

Sissoko ran in straight lines plenty, tried hard, should scored when through.

Dembele was fine, unspectacular, kept the ball well.

Danny Rose really just needs to piss off, horrible footballer. He knows what he’s worth and he’s going to make sure he gets it? Didn’t realise he was volunteering to work for free cleaning the toilets.

Eriksen is getting worse every game, clearly his season ended when Denmark qualified.

Dele huffed and puffed but the quality was lacking. Better pressing.

Kane seems to believe his own hype. Way too selfish. Good finish.

Son should have started, he was busy and a threat, no idea why he only got 1/3 of the match.

Llorente missed a chance that most three year olds could score to equalise, he should really just dig a ditch, crawl in, and wait to die.

Lamela did more in his cameo, including making our goal, than Eriksen has done since the Denmark game. The one silver lining.

Ref was terrible, gave every 50-50 to them, fell for all their diving, let them time waste, he can crawl in Llorente’s ditch.

?? Have a f*cking word with yourself. You are embarrassing...
Yeah okay, his been playing well and everything is great, fans like you are the reason we haven't won a major trophy in years, take too much shit. Love Eriksen, but the last month his been terrible, and hasn't got stuck in at all and deserves to be dropped, no player is assured of a starting place, otherwise complacency creeps in.

The problem is our team has looked extremely tired ever since coming back from the international break. Eriksen and Dier especially. We've had 2 games a week, all high-tempo, and 2 games a week all the way up to the City game. Looks like the only break the team will get is for the Nicosia match. Pochettino's training sessions are renowned for being brutal. Poch needs to ease up on them and let them recover or the team will just collapse.

I can't fault the effort of the players, especially the likes of Sanchez, but they are completely gassed out. Hardly any wonder they can barely pass or shoot.

Both Alli and Eriksen need dropping. They have both been nothing short of terrible the last 2-3 games and should be dropped. Son and Alli in for both of them. Personally I would drop Dier as well as the guy seems to think he is some sort of football maestro, nah you ain't!

This will never happen but my team for Watford would be:

Lloris

Trippier
Verts
Sanchez
Davies
Rose

Dembele
Winks

Son
Lamela

Kane

Subs - Vorm, KWP, Foyth, Dier, Eriksen, Alli, Llorente.

Neither Eriksen or Alli should be close to this team.

As for ratings, starters get a 0, Lamela gets a 9. That's it.

Conceded six goals in our last four games, all games in which the opposition scored first. Know we haven't looked great going forward, in particular Alli and Eriksen, but our defense hasn't been what it was with Toby in it.

Aurier’s crossing wasn’t that bad, Rose’s crossing was abysmal

Kane is being far too selfish at times. So many times he takes a stupid shot when somebody is in a good position. Yes, a lot of the time it goes in and if he’s not shooting he’s not scoring, but for fuck sake he’s gotta get his farking head up sometimes.

Poor showing all round today. Not one player really deserves a MotM imo. Not enough to start throwing toys from prams like some of the doom mongers on here, but definitely not a performance to be proud of.

Seems that the balance is off and it has taken the sting out of our play. Our two full backs today are part of the problem. Undisciplined and erratic leading often to Leicester pressure. CB's did ok. Dier Sissoko combo didn't work in midfield where we needed some composure. Shame Winks was ill. Alli, Eriksen and Kane for that matter look a yard off the pace so the link up play that has brought us so many goals isn't working. Happy to see Lamela back and think that he and Son must be starting some games soon. Is there a curse on our second striker?

Leicester did a smash and grab but we should still have won that - had the chances, at least four that I can count that should have been goals.

Lamela MotM because I missed him.
