think you have to give the credit to our ops stopping us passing it as quick, which isn't helped when you see City doing it week in week out
Yes credit to them but I think we have continued in thought process of we didn't need a lot as we had done so well, but we did need to jazz it up a bit with a couple of decent signings in the form of creative attacking quality instead we got a couple of CBs granted Sanchez is great and llorente who let's face it looks lost and short on confidence.

It will be close but Arsenal and Liverpool will go through bad patches of form, just right now everything is falling for them and not falling for us (+ below average performances)

Consequences are catastrophic if we don't but I think we'll just about do it. We fucking have to. COYS

I personally think we will finish 7th this season if we carry on like this, we are where we deserve to be in the table right now.

This is what happens when the players do not turn up for games and don't fight in every game, this is what Poch has said and I agree with him, right now we aren't fighting hard enough to win games and we are starting them in a sloppy manner.

You don't see other clubs giving up just because the title might be out of reach.

Really disappointed right now, if only the team that turns up in the CL games could turn up in the PL.

It is hard to see us finishing top four in all honesty but you never know at some point you hope the form picks up.

Tonight’s results show the difference in spending on forward players between us and our competition. Mane and Salah score for Pool and Lacazette scores for the goons while we have Llorente stinking the place out and Janssen stinking out Istanbul. Money is no doubt part of the issue but whoever has been responsible for our forward recruitment in recent years really needs taking out and being shot.

The attacking options of all our rivals are far superior to ours. We have the best no9 but the other 5 teams have so many options that they're not afraid to use.

I said this in the Premier League thread in General Football just now but it bears repeating here. We have a huge fight on our hands to qualify for the CL and our form (and more importantly, attitude) since the title race went out of sight has suggested to me that the players just aren't up for it.

I have the gut feeling that the only hope we have is to freshen up the squad in January in an attempt to light a fire underneath Dele and Eriksen, and to provide more depth and quality in central midfield. There are going to be some good players on the market this January, we need to actually be active for once, as unlikely as that is.

We need to make personnel changes in January if we want a chance at the top 4. It's as simple as that.

They admitted they couldn’t compete with that move. They’ll finish 20 points behind City come May too

Eriksen is elite level too. He’s had 3 poor games in a row and suddenly people are rating Coutinho and Ozil above him. Them two ****s have had dozens of shit spells, often lasting longer than 3 games too.
Eriksen has so much credit with us over the past two seasons that he doesn’t deserve to be getting grief just yet.

Our issue is when he isn’t firing. It’s not a coincidence that Dele usually looks very average when playing for England. Eriksen makes us tick. Hopefully Lamela takes some of the workload now and then in Jan we act early and bring in a Barkley or Lanzini etc

Replaced him with Salah. I know who I'd rather have...

Liverpool problems aren't attacking midfielders.
