People that definitely should not play in this are Lloris Dier sanchez vertonghen winks dele eriksen kane.

Dembele And Son haven’t played that much so could be ok.

You don't rest heavily for CL at home. Strong core must play. If a player is not preferable for a generic PL game, he shouldn't be played in CL.

maybe true if there was anything to play for but there isn’t.

If you can’t rest players in this then there’s no chance to rest them any other time

After Dortmund I would have said play an entire team of those like N’Koudou and Llorente who need minutes, and kids. But now we kind of need a win and big performance to get confidence and momentum going again.

Apart from possibly TOB I doubt anyone involved in the Youth version of the tournament will be in the squad. If we see anyone it will be someone like Georgiou, and maybe Amos.

I'm not so sure, I think rest may benefit some of them more. Personally, I would play:

Thing is when you get that many players who’ve never played together your very unlikely to get a joined up performance.

Subs : Vorm, Aurier, Tanganga, Winks, Skipp, GKN, Harrison

Dembele and Rose need match sharpness, give them and hour and bring on Skipp and GKN. Give Llorente 70mins to hit a barn door then give Harrison 20. Even if we lose the match we will get valuable playing time for player lacking fitness and youngsters making their way in the game

I fully expect Sissoko, Dier and Aurier to start though

Alli doesn't need resting, he's as fit as a fiddle and he needs to play his way back into form, Poch never rests him.

Starting Gazzaniga in CL will probably mean more for the squad moving forward, the experience would be immense. Plus, in his debut, he played better than I can remember Vorm doing.

Yet hasn’t made the bench since. Personally I don’t care either way but to Poch Vorm is second choice so would play if Lloris doesn’t.
