I'd be tempted to rest one or two, so after reading the tripe in here i'd go with this lineup?

Aleksic
Perryman Poch (C) Foyth
KWP Ardiles Rose
Sissoko Hoddle
Allen
Lee

Sissoko would eclipse Hoddle and set the youngster back a few years. I'd play Ghaly instead

No reason why we can't rest the whole 11 that played against Watford except Sanchez who doesn't matter now.

------------Vorm------------
---Aurier-Sanchez-Foyth---
KWP-Winks-Sissoko-Rose
----Nkoudou-Georgiou----
-----------Llorente----------

The only reason I can see us maybe playing a stronger starting 11 is because of the win bonuses any club gets for a CL win, I think it's €1.5m for a win and €500k for a draw. A win probably pays for the entire squads weekly wage and Levy would obviously be fully aware of this. I'll be very disappointed if we play any first team player to be honest.
More important than the £1m is probably the UEFA Coefficient points, which could help us avoid getting a Madrid/Dortmund style group again in future CL appearances. I'd still go for a second XI mind.

Big rotation required for this but Alli & Dembele should still start for the mins and Sanchez can now play considering he'll be banned in the league.

Winks could play 60 or 70 seeing as he's been out for a couple of games, otherwise we need to see GKN and Llorente getting the full 90. Getting any of the youngsters involved would also be awesome.

There's an opportunity here to give some of those young lads an amazing experience that could only be positive for their career progression.

Think it’s time to get behind the team more importantly atm, disappointing recently but not a total diseaster, Certainly not the doom mongering that is being spouted by some sections of the Spurs fan base on twitter and the like. Was always going to be a difficult year transitioning between stadiums, think what’s important is next year and making sure we keep what we’ve got going into a the new stadium.

We need a win. I don't want us to get a thrashing by APOEL by playing a second string. We need to pick a team that can hold its own.

if he starts any of "key" players... and then we don't get a win against Stoke.. there will be scenes.. regardless of the result against APOEL.

It means that he doesn't get given us much leeway as our other attacking midfielders, who are seemingly undroppable. Are you seriously telling me you couldn't figure that out from my post without asking?

I'm not sure i agree. I do think he is given less opportunities, but not for a slightly jaded, discriminatory reason like you seem to suggest in your post.
I feel he is given less opportunities because he is a bit of an enigma. He is unplayable/unstoppable one game, followed by being a blocked pipe in our attack the next.
Don't get me wrong, im a big fan of Son, love what he brings. But, he has that element to his game which sort of equates to 'boom or bust' form. When he's hot, he's HOT!! When he's not, its of noticable detriment to the team. Much more so than the others (Alli, Eriksen) who seem to be able to influence a game even when not near their peak*.

*Though it is harder to see in our current run of form...

On another note, your first post read as though you were suggesting something beyond footballing reasons for Son's lack of game time...

Ah, well no I wasn’t suggesting that at all so I hope that hadn’t been inferred too widely.

Juan Foyth needs to start and I would put him in the DM role to see if he can play there. From the little I have seen, I have to believe he can make more of a game in the middle of the park than Dier.

this won't happen because it would be such a switch in formation:
Vorm
Aurier, Foyth, Sanchez, Rose
KWP, Sissoko, TOB, Bennett
Edwards
Llorente

Kane will be banging down his door to play. He will want the CL golden boot. Would be madness imo but wouldn’t surprise me. Actually think I’d play dele he needs some confidence and he shouldn’t be tired really missed x3 CL weeks and Just had 2 weeks off for England.

To be fair - one of the things we are missing most right now is Dier playing DM.

So, your snide comment about Dier aside, hard to blame him for DM deficiencies when Dier has been playing in the back 3...with no DM to shield the back line.

I don't want to see Dier, Verts, Eriksen or Kane in the squad.

The likes of Dele, Son, Dembele, Winks shouldn't play long if at all either.

Vorm
KWP, Foyth, Sanchez, Rose
Sissoko, TOB,
Edwards, Lamela, Nkoudou
Llorente
