A dead rubber of a game so watched for entertainment and evaluation purposes.

A lot of positives. Clean sheet, Winks, Lloriente 1st goal etc. plus we scored in every round while topping the group by dropping only two points in the only draw where we won the other games.

A negatives including Dembele needing to either reboot, reload, reset or sychronise his radar

I am giving George N'koudou my MOTM vote (Yes I know I have spelt his name wrong in the pole, but I am sure you who I meant)

Have you got his name on your pole?

Son MOTM, been our best player for several weeks now. We always look better with Winks in the team and Sanchez looks ever more like Ledley.

Stand out moments for me were Llorente showing his silky skills. Lovely goal and a beautifully weighted lay off for Son's finish.

N'Koudou had a decent game, needs to be more confident but it was great seeing him score.

Foyth had a solid game, made a couple of errors but that's what these types of games are all about. Learning.

Ali, I thought he worked hard. Too many of these poxy back heels at times but wasn't terrible.

Danny Rose produced some decent runs on the left. Getting back to full fitness.

Aurier. Horrible tackle and in my opinion was deserving of a red. Capable of so much at times, but his lack of concentration and lakadaisical approach could prove costly. Needs to work on that.

Dembele. Needs a re-boot, fitness or more time out. He'll come good im sure.

Job done. Now to concentrate on the premiership.

GKN showed that he offers something different from our regulars, did well and scored. His problem is that his legs are too quick for his brain. If his brain ever catches up there's a hell of a player there. My MOTM alongside Son.

Llorente's touch to control the ball before his goal was sensational, so good I really wonder how he can go from that to cocking up the other two times he was in a great position.

Spare a thought for young Sterling, denied a good 10 min runout because he spent seven of those minutes standing there waiting to come on while the ball was slowly passed across the defence and midfield for what felt like ages before it finally went out. Felt genuinely sorry for him.

Scrappy scruffy and *scrimpy for a good amount of the game
especially in the second half. Some very careless moments.
Excellent build up for the first two goals.
Highest points total and all that. Controlled the game except for careless errors
and abit of confusion at the back
Apoel very poor.

Llorente with a nicely taken goal and assist. Missed at least one sitter(6+)
Son played well, lovely goal. Either misses or scores a screamer(7+)
Winks performed well all game.Always available. Bit negative at times.(7+) MyMOM
Foyth has the makings.Still very young(7-)
Aurier is a menace but gets into good positions.(6)
Sanchez needs to concentrate on the ball not the man.(6+)
Rose what's that anger all about. Calm down, calm down.(6)
Dele finding good positions between the lines but wasteful(6+).
Sissoko two v.good passes and some effort (6).
Dembele worryingly lethargic and a bit slapdash(5).
Vorm yet another clean sheet (6) for turning up..
KWP deserves more pitch time. looks composed and competent.
GKN. Pleased for him but too harum scarum, without the scarum

Dele is one of the hardest players to judge. I honestly have no idea if he’s world class or a complete lemon.

Winks or Sissoko MOTM for me. Winks bossed it in the first half (even if they let him) and Sissoko never stopped moving for his team-mates.

It was just bad timing in trying to shield the ball, 100% an accident as there was no intention to foul. it was an over the top booking in my opinion. Saying that you seem to have a beef with Serge. He did quiet well assisting the offence and tidying up the defence when Sanchez and Foyth were breached. Calling his performance as lackadaisical is almost criminal. At worse some parts of his performance were clumsy, like that fore mentioned foul.

I agree about Sissoko but others on here have their own views about him which conflict with ours.

I thought SIssoko showed some leadership tonight in an inexperienced team. Was geeing up players in tunnel before ko. Did a lot of running & covering, took more responsibility than usual. It's still painful to watch him at times, but he showed a bit of heart tonight I thought.

He's been awful at times, especially last season, but he was very good tonight. Credit where due.
