He has been incredibly overrated since Day 1 and some have continued to make excuse after excuse for some of the poor decisions he makes quite often on the pitch.

Back-up to (the wildly under-credited) Trippier and I think he'll deservedly stay that way.

How many red cards did he get for saints ... much improved now but he lacked discipline early on

Who is to say Aurier can't improve then? He is a rash player now and I don't think he's an upgrade, or as good as, what we had last year but it's still early days. He's still getting used to English football and the way we play.

What ever happened to players from abroad being given time to adapt to a new country, league etc? Are we writing them off after half a season now? So many fickle fans wanting the new shiny thing then discarding it after 5 minutes.

To be fair, I wrote him off before he'd even kicked a ball for us:

Ok that’s fine then, qualifying racism by profession. I’m off to the doctor I hope he isn’t one of those typical African doctors.

Don't get mattdefoe started on African doctors, they removed 5 of his haemorrhoids perfectly and then cut 1 of his bollocks off by mistake...

Those posts..:dead:

That doesn't make your opinion any more valid tbh.

If people were patronisingly (and wrongly) accusing me of being fickle and wanting to discard the shiny new toy because I've quickly got bored with it, quoting an older post of mine to prove I didn't rate the player in the first place and have been consistent with that opinion if I believed little has changed is absolutely fair game.

I thought he played well Wednesday.

What I think he actually needs is a good run of games. No rotation. Give him 5/6 games in a row. That would benefit him so much.

He’s obviously a top player. Anyone with a brain can see it

He’s obviously a nut case. Anyone with a brain can see it

There’s a reason PSG got rid and I’m sure it had nothing to do with his ability

Not sure about that his performance against palace a few weeks ago was not befitting a premier league player.

How you can say that comment is racist is beyond me.

I hate typical American movie's........

Well UK law also says that comment would be racist so if that is "beyond you" aswell maybe you're the problem?

"Any incident/crime which is perceived by the victim or any other person to be motivated by hostility or prejudice based on a person's race or perceived race"

The Act says a "racial group" means a "group of persons defined by reference to race, colour, nationality (including citizenship) or ethnic or national origins."
-CPS website http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/p_to_r/racist_and_religious_crime/#a03

Also I hate weird false equivalences which don't make any sense, how can you compare genaralisations about movies and about PEOPLE ffs

I like Aurier. I think he will be fine - he will give us a bit of pace on the right side, and does not look afraid to take a defender on - that is the kind of mentality we need in the attacking third.
