A snippet from today's Guardian rumour mill ..

Meanwhile West Ham are also in the hunt for Theo Walcott, as are Everton
and Southampton. He’ll probably come out of hiding if they just say a few
nice things to him, though.

Signing Walcott and van Persie in January would be the highest peakage (is that a word?) of West Ham yet.

Amused (and enthused) to see in an interview with the Guardian that David Sullivan hopes to establish a Sullivan dynasty at West Ham, and is planning to hand the reigns over to his highly unqualified sons when the time comes.

Could Jack be chairman in the future?

“Possibly. Or Dave. Or both of them. We’ll see.

Please be both of them.

Sullivan is the gift that keeps giving. Can't keep his fat warty mouth shut for 2 minutes. West Ham fans are stuck with these fucking losers, fucking great isn't it

Dave has just been challenged on Twitter as to what experience he has when it comes to getting involved in the running of a football club.

At that point, Dave has two options

a) He can demonstrate a degree of decorum and quietly ignore the post or

b) He can show he's his father's son and come out and say something absolutely preposterous in response

Bless him, he's a chip off the old block...

There you go. That'll shut all the doubters up. He's got 3 levels A*A. :cautious:

That's football club running experience right there. No question.

Smashing stuff, Dave.

Love this bit from that article....

“I’m not involved in the strategy. The manager said he wanted Fonte from Southampton and Snodgrass from Hull. My kids begged me not to sign them.”

That's a great confidence boost for Fonte as he nears return from injury.

To be fair he's probably confused as he often sees fans refering to his old man as A grade A c**t.

Apparently Hart has been dropped and they're starting Adrian this weekend. I'm surprised that Moyes has made such a brave decision, but it's probably the right call given Hart's form. Good luck to her!

I just got home and HT is 1-0 to Wham V Chelsea.
I first felt really happy that Chelsea are losing, but also dirty as it's Wham and I want them to go down!
Only football can get this response from me with-in a few seconds!
Don't wanna tempt fate and call a FT result
