I really don’t see what he did wrong, he tracked the runner and didn’t put a challenge in. He was touch tight, but that’s to be expected in the top flight.
Calvert Lewin bought the penalty afaic.

Before anyone gets too antsy about this, I’m chuffed to bits about it. Everton deserves sweet fa from that game, which makes the scouse angst even funnier.
You're right in that he didn't put a challenge in, but he put two hands on him and gave him a slight push.
It was soft, no argument there, but really stupid by Lovren...most forwards would do the same in those circumstances.

When Rojo is going to be replaced by Jones, it just says how many overrated players there are in manure squad.

Its same shit Allardyce does but for some reason when Maureen pumps long balls up to a fking bulldozer up front its seen as tactical genius.
Edit. Irony of spelling genius incorrectly lol.

The difference is Mourinho wins trophies, people tend to focus on outcome and then rationalise afterwards why what ever happened was justified or great.

For example, when we battered Chelsea but ended up losing in the FA cup semi final, or at Wembley in our opening home game, afterwards they rationalise it as some tactical masterclass, when reality it was just inferior play, negative tactics and a bit of luck in their favour.

Whatever wins is genius... that is it.

There was me thinking it was spending 200m every transfer window that won him trophies.
