Id love to see him in a Spurs shirt again, but Im not sure we should sell the family silver to get him back, there is a sneaking suspicion his very best days are behind him, and he does seem to spend more time out injured than playing.

30 and we can pick up the phone. Come on. This is bordering on ludicrous.

Do they still owe us money on his transfer and was there any sell on clause?
If so maybe wipe that and a bit of cash 20,30mil and might be worth it.,we'd get a decent player and the money he'll bring via commercial sales.

Anything more forget it.

Just thought of something thats changed my view on the possibility of this happening. We're moving into a 61k seater stadium next season so the idea of a big name signing isnt beyond the realms of possibility. Might not be Bale but could see someone big coming in.
Edit. @tiger666 Agree its unlikely but just slightly more likely given stadium. Would make a statement.

Injuries can be related to the mental status of a patient, in this case, Bale. If he is unhappy, recovery time takes longer/injuries can be more prevalent. Its amazing how the mind works. @Lemon might be wrong but don't you have a lot of knowledge in the human body? @Houdini chill out bud I know you're an expert on pussy.

Big names come with big wages. Bale, or someone of a similar stature, will be demanding £200k+ a week. That wouldn't go down well with the rest of the squad, who will quickly be sending their agents to Mr Levy's office.

Not a sneaking suspicion. His best days are behind him, full stop.

Be 29 at the end of the season, just don't think it would be the right move for us.

Added to the fact he basically abandoned us, do we really want someone like that back in the club, not for me, we need people who believe they can achieve their dreams at Tottenham. Bale is not such a person.

Too old, too clapped out, too expensive.
Er that's a no.
Prefer too remember him how he was
than watch his declining years at Spurs.
