If sanchez is worth 50 million with 6 months to go on his contract, then Kane, Eriksen and Delle must be worth 300 million+ each.
I will always find the £35m paid for the Ox with 12 months left completely staggering....£50m for Sanchez is a pittance in comparison.

I also think they'll stay till the end of the season so they can weigh up all their options. They don't need financial incentives to make them stay because they're still under contract until then. They can begin negotiation with foreign clubs in January but any move they agree still wouldn't go through until the summer unless someone agrees a transfer fee with Arsenal. That won't happen IMO because Arsenal would want crazy money to release them mid-season.

As for City, I don't think they need to worry about Arsenal either way to be honest.

I hate to think of the scenario but if, and I say through grinding teeth, they finish top 4, win a domestic cup and god forbid win the Europa I could see them staying.

Just the sort of shit wenger would pull of citing his immense aptitude and always part of his master plan.

2 wealthy rival clubs (Liverpool and Chelsea) were going for him, which may explain the price tag to a certain extent.

Re. Sanchez, I think if City were struggling or needed some reinforcements then they might have tried to bring him in during January. But there's no way they'll do that now, with the PL pretty much in the bag. They'll agree terms in Jan and he'll join in the summer.

Be interesting to see what his form does, if this happens.

City fancy a domestic double with the CL as dream topping. They might well buy him.

Östersund are better than most people think. Beat athletic bilbao in the group. Arsenal should be quite comfortable though
If Graham Potter gets a result against Arsenal he should be next in line for a PL job. The work he's done is incredible.

Going to Östersund is like going far away in Russia. Very cold and demotivating. Before the game against Zorya, the supporters had to help shoveling snow from the pitch so they could play.

Agree! He's done a fantastic job with the team. Hardly any resources either. The cold and the fact they play on that artificial turf isnt going to help arsenal

Was hoping they'd get Dortmund, Napoli or Ostersunds. Will be interesting to watch at least instead of them playing FC Pub Team.

Spurs Updates on Facebook:

Arsenal have drawn Östersund FK in the Europa League Round of 32 draw. Now if you don’t know who they are, they are a small team from Woolwich, South London

They are literally playing against a team with an 8,466 capacity stadium that hadn't even been founded yet when Wenger took over. Son, Toby and Alli were playing for us before this lot had ever even reached the Swedish top flight.

If that's not a slice of humble pie I don't know what is.

Just read up on their manager's achievements with them, pretty insane. They were playing in the fourth tier of Swedish football in 2010.

We should bid for Sanchez in January. He'd be a handy bench player.
Reasonable understudy for Son.

Meanwhile, somewhere on an Arsenal forum people are going mental in the "What other fans think of our club" thread.

Saying that, I have a Gooner in my workplace that just doesn't get sarcasm. Every time I pull a line like "Ozil's okay, but I'd rather Sissoko", he goes ape shit crazy and starts foaming at the mouth.
