I think it's an encouraging stat to be honest - the worst issue for a striker is when they don't get chances, and he's in some pretty good company.

It's not a criticism - it's a legitimate observation.
Kane gets into great positions and hasn't scored on a few very good chances recently. That's just reality. Good thing is, he's f***ing incredible in everything else he does and scores for fun, so those misses don't hurt so much.

This is where these records become negative to the team, it's clear he will be more selfish until Jan (or breaks the record), but in truth he's in poor form (relative to his own mesmeric recent past) and the team needs him focused 100% on winning the games, not his own glory.
Hope he gets a hatrick against City though, he can be as selfish as Ronaldo if he does!
